Nah, they kinda bug me, besides, when I'm doing all the stuff, they tend to fall out" she explained finished, the teal blue eyes she now had... sorta, peered from beneath her bangs, and with the ability now, to reflect light, it helped her face show much more emotion. Right now instead of her smile appearing a bit blank, it now appeared genuine. "Alright so your place?" she asked, changing the topic away from her eyes.

Serenity shifted her gaze from Rena's eyes back to the street around them, "Well we might as well." she said her uncertainty not showing in her voice. She really wasn't sure exactly where they should be headed but getting the materials settled that would be necessary for learning Chinese. It was as good an idea as any and it may keep the two girls occupied for a while.
"Unless you have a better idea." she said with a shrug.[/size]

"Not really, gotta get crackin', for a normal person, it takes them a couple years to think about mastering a language, it takes me about 2 weeks if I don't multi-task, and that's speaking fluently too. For you, I think it might take a month or two" Rena explained as she walked, listing things off on her fingers, mouthing things about notebooks and pencils. "Ooo, Maybe... Well, I'll save that for the next time... You'll love it, I think" she said, thinking about writing brushes. Rena herself had particularly liked that about learning chinese, was practicing Caligraphy, and resigned to save it for their next lesson, which for some reason, wouldn't show up in the visions.

Serenity glanced into the future to figure out what Rena was talking about but for some reason was hitting a wall. For some reason that she didn't want to look into further for now she couldn't see it. "Well that's annoying." she muttered under her breath and brushed her hair out of her face. She would look into it later. Things like her visions being blinded didn't happen very often and when they did they annoyed her to no end.
"Well ok the next month or two and we'll have a crash course in Chinese." she said rubbing her hands together in anticipation. "Let's get started." she said a grin spreading across her face.[/size]

"Ha HA!" Rena laughed, realizing that Serenity couldn't see it, she probably should be concerned about it, but she let it slide. Rena jogged forward and turned to face Serenity face to face. "Alright, next month, we'll have a BIG cram session, promise?" she asked, holding out her pinky in a bit of a child-ish way, but it somewhat fit her, as she always goofed around, even during hone of the harder fights in her life, against Green when the building was blown. "Though that still means you won't get out of the cram session today."

Serenity chuckled a smile spreading across her face. This was one of the times that she didn't believe that Rena was all evil villainous. There was a good person underneath all of the tough exterior. Athena had forgotten that when she was betrayed by the raven haired villain, but when the danger was past life Rena could relax a little bit.
It was nice to be shown that side of her by choice.

Alright, well, I'm not gonna teleport to your house" Rena concluded, knowing that she probably didn't know the area. Teleporting over large regions of space was fine, as there was nothing, save for rare examples. But teleporting on planet to a strange spot... Well, let's just say Rena never wanted to experience teleporting into an object. "Long story short" Rena explained, "I don't like being 'inside' objects" not willing to fully explain her weakness, more for pride reasons.

Serenity chuckled she wasn't a physics major but she still knew that no two objects could be in the same place at the same time, "Yeah that would be bad. Defying the laws of physics should be saved for special occasions." she said with a chuckle. Although her statement was broken by both girls by the power they shared. Seeing the future was impossible according to the laws of physics. Seeing where every particle would end up was impossible. Yet they both did it every day.
"I'll lead the way." she said with a chuckle, she didn't have any really cool way to travel other than walking. She did actually have a license if she did want to drive but she was too lazy to actually bother. Walking worked for her just fine. She didn't need the car, it was only there for convenience.[/size]

Rena rather enjoyed walking through this dimensional universe, where particles couldn't travel faster than light. Slow, mundane, and calming rather than her suffocating, dis-orientation, that she went through every time she teleported. She had to go through LONG hours, after days, upon weeks, upon months of training just so she launch an attack upon her return into the dimension, to use it as a practical attack. I bet even that kid obsessed with Green would need to go through hell to master it.
"So how far is it anyway?" she asked, looking around at things that moved, falling behind Serenity again, as they moved down the street.

Serenity pointed down the street and in the general direction of her house, as they had been walking in that direction for a while anyway so it wasn't as far as it would have been otherwise, "My place isn't far, only about three more blocks." she said glancing backwards at her friend.
She still had a room with her mother who worked as a stock broker. And was quite a sought out one at that, although no one knew she could see the future she still happened to be scarily lucky in her choices in stocks.[/size]
