Rena grabbed at it, snatching it out of the air, while pulling out a second pair of board shorts, these ones ending at the lower thigh, just above the knee, black with white lines down the side. "What about these?" she asked, holding the two pairs of board shorts.

Serenity glanced into the future for a moment and then continued her search, "Their very good actually they look great with... oh there you are." she said pulling a white striped one piece off the rack she was looking on with a silver lei on it at the hip. The only problem was it was backless. She passed it to Rena this time figuring that she should probably see the look on her face personally.[/size]

"Um..." she said. "Am I supposed to wear a swimsuit underneath these things?" she asked, as she wasn't sure whether she was supposed to or not.
(I'm not sure myself, ARE you supposed to waer swimsuits under rash-guards and board-shorts? [I'm minnesotan, I don't surf, cut me some slack, and I won't make fun of your intolerance of cold... Ok maybe a little... as much... *cough*])

Serenity nodded as she spoke and ran her hand over another one that would go great with the boardshorts that Rena had chosen, "Yeah you are the best suits are the ones with an underwire but their uncomfortable." she said with a slight shrug and brushed her hair out of her way again. She loved long hair but sometimes it was very unpractical.[/size]

Serenity smiled at Rena's comment, "That stripped one doesn't have an underwire, and you'll actually like it." she said with a small smile and ran her hand over the stitching of a green bikini that went well with a pair of brown board shorts that she owned. The fact that it had the same brown trim as the board shorts helped as well.
"Oh that one looks good on you." she said considering the outfit all together on her friend. "It'll stay in place too." she said with an excited smile.[/size]

Well, guess I'll trust you, I think you know more about Terran Fashion than me" she said, using the words most alien cultures deemed this little planet. As she had been off-planet for the better part of two years, it was really no surprise that she also termed the planet Terra rather than Earth.

Serenity shrugged and glanced back at the set that her friend had. She would be uncomfortable in it but it was so much better than most of the clothes that she may have gotten. And it was still a good outfit. "It's really a great set even though it's very conservative." she said with a grin sliding across her face.
She briefly considered the teleporters use of the Latin word for earth rather than the English one but didn't think to much about it. After living off-world so for two years she expected a slight difference in her vocabulary.[/size]

"So... Which ones would settle with?" hoping for Serenity to choose, she really didn't know what to do with all of the stuff, and since she never swam, only had an idea on how to put on the one-piece, but it was the right idea, but to her, it was just an idea, rather than the real way to put it on.

Serenity ran her eyes over the choices that she had to pick from. "Well you'll be happiest at first with the speedo ((basically a boring as hell bathingsuit that is mostly for sports but they are REALLY hideous)) but you'll eventually end up liking the backless one." she said with a shrug, "The board shorts and rashguard go well with either but their very generic." she said with a shrug.[/size]
