Vivian chuckled, still petting Ginger, and said "I never said I wasn't." Ginger looked back up at Vivian and gave her another slobbery lick on her face. Vivian laughed and wiped the drool off her face and pushed Ginger off her. "Yeah they're fine I guess." She had almost forgotten about her wounds and wondered how much healing they had gotten done. She started to look at her wounds when a sudden bang of something falling over echoed through the building.

In a flash Ginger was on standing on top of Vivian, startled by the sudden noise. Vivian cried out in pain as Ginger stepped on her wounds and she grabbed Ginger by the scruff of the neck, yanking her off. Vivian groaned, glaring at Ginger and snarled "You idiot dog!" Ginger ha landed on the floor with a small yelp and began crawling over to the side of the room, shaking from the being startled and by Vivian's sudden outburst.

Vivian hadn't meant to do any of that to Ginger, but her temper got the best of her. When she looked back at Ginger and saw at how she was shaking and cowering in fear her anger instantly dissolved. She slowly stretched her hand out to Ginger trying to pet her whispering "Ginger, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. Come here."

But, Ginger flinched at Vivian's hand and ran off to another part of the house. Vivian called after Ginger, but it didn't do anything. She growled, angry at herself and yelled "Dammit! Why do I always go and screw things up!" She sighed, cursing under her breath and tried to get up so she could go looking for Ginger.

Serenity sighed and glanced at the pure white dove in her arms, "Is she always going to be like this?" Sorina asked with a roll of her eyes. Neither one of them were great to talk to but each of them could read each other like a childrens book.

Serenity rolled her emerald eyes, "Yeah pretty much." she said glancing at Vivian, "You know you don't always screw things up, I mean you haven't yet caused an necropolis to appear yet so your fine." she said with an air of tiredness creeping up on her.[/size]

Vivian ignored Serenity and began walking to where Ginger had run off. With her wound still fresh it made walking harder and painful, but Vivian tried to just ignore the pain. "Hey if you're still tired then go back to sleep, ok?" She called back to Serenity and then left the room. Thankfully the house was only one-story so Vivian didn't have to worry about climbing any stairs, but it still took a while to find Ginger.

She finally found her crouched in the corner of what looked like the kitchen and she slowly walked towards her. Ginger didn't make any movement to get away, but she still seemed a bit scared. Vivian knelt down next to Ginger and slowly reached her hand out to pet her, but Ginger lowered her head trying to avoid Vivian's hand. "It's ok Ginger. I'm not going to hurt you." Vivian whispered in her softest voice and gently pressed her hand against Ginger's head.

Ginger seemed to relax at Vivian's touch and gave a small whine. Vivian smiled and whispered "See? It's ok." She ran her hand down Ginger's back and carefully sat down by the dog. Ginger slowly began to wag her tail and gave Vivian a small lick. Vivian leaned back against the wall and slowly petted Ginger's back, her eyes slowly beginning to close again. She slowly fell asleep with Ginger's head on her lap.

Serenity yawned and Sorina rolled her eyes, "Good night." the dove muttered as she curled onto Serenity's shoulder.

"It's morning." she grumbled wishing the dove would just shut up and let her go to sleep.

"Whatever" she muttered wishing the blond would shut up at the moment.[/size]
