Vivian slowly walked among the grave stones, reading the names on each as she passed b Today she was wearing a light blue sweater and a white tank top underneath it, which was unusual for her to wear. But, today was a special day. It was her sister's Birthday. In her right hand was a small brown bear that held a small balloon in its paws and in the other was a small bouquet of flowers. She continued her walk then stopped in front of two gave stones. The biggest one had the names David Woods and Margaret Woods engraved into the stone and the smaller one had the name Olivia Woods on it. She placed the bouquet in front of the biggest grave stone and said "Hey Mom, Dad." Then turned to the smaller one and knelt down on the ground. She placed the bear in front of grave stone and said "Happy birthday sis." Her voice became uneven as she said this and she closed her eyes and looked away.
(Happy B-Day Sister!! No you ppl don't know her but still I felt like I should do something for her. Olivia Woods (not real last name obviously) November 19 1997 - November 20 1997)

Serenity was sitting on a gravestone behind Vivian, she had known she would come and was glad to have some company during her weekly visit to the spirits who were wasting away there. She didn't care if Canas had proclaimed it to be his own personal play pen she had been coming there since she was seven and she would continue to help the spirits who were letting go until they passed on.
"I remember her, she was a good kid." she said with a smile in Vivian's direction, "Your parents were great people too, they took a while to pass on. Livie was really good about death though," she said thoughtfully, "Your parents didn't want to leave you behind." she said pushing herself off the gravestone and walking toward the other girl, "People don't realize that the survivors have the most trouble." she said thoughtfully, "They usually think that the ghosts do." she said and placed a flower of her own on the little girls grave.

Vivian looked up at Serenity, slightly startled, as tears slid down her face. She quickly wiped them away, she hadn't noticed that Serenity had been there and turned her head away from Serenity. "Yeah she always was........." she said but said nothing else. She listened to Serenity's words, but they did nothing but bring more guilt into her heart. "But it was my fault," she said and took a deep, shaky breath, "It's my fault they're dead." Vivian had meant for that to be thought, but it came out anyways.

Serenity restrained herself from rolling her eyes at Vivian, "You know they didn't think that." she said with a sigh. Survivors guilt, it never really did get old. Vivian had nothing to blame on herself, or according to her parents and sister she didn't.
Serenity smiled at the other girl and pulled her jacket around herself tighter, it was getting colder in the city this time of year, and the snow would be piling on soon. She even knew the hour of the first snow storm. "Here put this on." she said pulling out another sweater for the vampiress "It'll get colder soon." she said with a smile.

Vivian shook her head and said "No....it was my fault......I....If I would have listened to my parents.........If I had just listened then they would all still be alive!" She rested her hand on her parents grave stone as her tears fell even faster. Her mind slowly went back to the day it all fell apart. Her parents told her countless times not to reveal what she really was and Vivian never took it seriously. She had decided to show her so-called BFF and she ended up running around telling everyone. That same night hunters came to her house and burned it to the ground with her family in it. Vivian, being afraid of what her parents would do, didn't go home that night and had returned the next morning to find nothing but ashes and the bones of her family.

Serenity sighed and patted a tomb stone next to the two for them to sit down on, "They don't blame you." she said with a sigh, "And the past is the past, the future, now that is something that is never set in stone." she said with a soft smile that touched her emerald eyes, "They actually followed you around for a while before they passed over." she said and ran a hand through her hair and smiled slightly as it came into contact with the hairclip that she had taken to using.

Vivian stared at the ground and said "You're right the past is the past and there's nothing I can do about it now. But, it doesn't change the fact that I left my family to die!" She was facing Serenity now but, wasn't looking at her. "I could've done something to save them. But, instead I ran to save my own life and went by hope that they'd get out too." Vivian looked up at Serenity and her eyes seemed darker than they usually were.
(Sorry this one really sucks, but I couldn't think of anything else XP)

((It's fine)) Serenity sighed and wished that Vivian's parents were here to tell her what to say, it would have made her life easier, "They were glad you did though." she said almost deciding to give up her explanations, Vivian wasn't listening to her and there wasn't much she could do about it.
She really needed to get Vivian's thoughts away from the devastator zone they were headed toward. There were enough dead spirits here as it was, "So what was your sister like?" she asked even though she knew the answer to the question she wanted to hear it from Vivian. Anything to distract the girl at this point was a good thing.

Vivian glared at Serenity, she knew what she was trying to do, but what was the point of arguing now? She looked back at the grave stone and said "Well.........she was a lot of things. She was funny, always hyper, and though at times she would bug the hell out of me she was my best friend." She rested her hand on the grave stone and slowly ran her hand over the angel that was engraved into the stone.

Serenity smiled well she was getting somewhere, Vivian wasn't trying to rip her head off over weather she killed her parents or not. "What were your parents like?" she asked with a small smile. She remembered them clearly, they never wanted to leave their little girl alone in the world. And at the young age she had been at the time (and still a know it all) she had done her best to help them through that. Not easy as they had had so much to deal with in their life but they were moving on. Or they did years ago.
