As I'm sure you've noticed our town has undergone a drastic change. Namely, it doesn't belong to us any more. Not sure the details of how this occurred matter, but it seems at this point in time that all traces of our influence have been wiped from the city.

No matter, I've found the police quite easy to manipulate, and will certainly find my place of distinct honor as a public servant once again as I have in the past. Come next month, the city will once again, be ours.

As for communication, I assure you I have good faith in your deducing that our Tyrant communicators are functioning again. I had to bust a few heads and gain a few favors but our old encrypted frequencies are back online. There would not have been need for killing had the the poor sod not ruined my freshly pressed shirt with his blood. Ah but I digress; no need to thank me, I got the server on a good deal. A steal, if you will.

Now that it's apparent I haven't abandoned you, it seems adequate that I have a team to back the plans I have for restoring our control of the city. As leader, it is your honor to see to this endeavor. I await confirmation of a rendezvous.

It's creepy, and I woke up with a hangover, and then I had to teach some smart-mouth a lesson like five minutes later, so I'm a little short on patience for your usual three-syllable bull, today, Face, cut it out or I'll have your tongue for a snack. I'm holding you to that time limit; this city is going to be ours one way or the other.

Trying to get the team together, gotta find everyone - not sure if they all came with us, or whatever. Heard a rumor Tinker's in town, and few other of our annoying goody-goodies. She shouldn't be a problem for you if you run across her, got me?

Charming as ever, Changeling.
Bear with me as, with all due respect of course, I don't speak brute.

Of course, it will be a while before the next election phase, so I will ask some patience of you to that end. While the local law enforcement has been easy to manipulate, it could take a second to get them fighting for us. In the meantime, it was easy to get the liberal hipsters to start anti-law enforcement propaganda (what with the circulated videos of wanton killing of 'innocents')
This has brought the police to a sort of indifference to their duties, for fear of handcuffing someone too roughly or tackling a convicted murderer too hard or what have you.
In the end, crime will have no opposition and we will soon have a state funded mercenary team at our heels; in nifty sharp police uniform no less.

As for other support, I've been working on a pet project. There is a local mercenary troop with decent military grade weapons. The price is a bit steep but we could always kidnap their family as I've begun a sort of kidnapping ring in the city. This runs the risk of course of them attacking us instead of having loyalty toward the only people who know the whereabouts of their family. Human stupidity is, as always, a variable. I'd suppose the aforementioned kidnapping ring has been lucrative enough (let me tell you, Americans sell high) that we might afford to buy them outright and play nice. This is your call.
