WFF has recovered what seems to have been multiple slow periods.
I have discussed some goals and aspirations for the site with Athena. I'd like to see the site shy away from being campy and plunge deeper into a mature realism.

We need more villains, and come on, its fun to be the bad guy
Villains need to be less friendly and chaotic or evil or both. Don't be afraid to make your villain an asshole or a vindictive bitch or whatever. We LOVE that shit. A REAL character will beat out a well liked one any day. Speaking or realistic- its in poor taste to make a villain whose motivation is something like 'world domination' or 'because im evil'. What is a real driving factor for their deeds? Is it realistic? If all else fails, plead insanity (also fun)
Heros do better with deep seated issues, whether in personality or weakness. Nobody loves a near perfect new god. its boring. What are their vices? What are their motivations and what demons are haunting them? Food for thought.
DISCLAIMER: Not trying to tell anyone how to run your character, just some tips, ya know?

I would like to see more connectivity throughout our members. I've connected with Athena and Rena through skype and since then I went from quitting the site to being a productive member who checks in everyday. If you are too shy you can always make decent use of the PM and chat system. Talk about your characters, what you want to see happen, bounce ideas off one another. GET EXCITED ABOUT IT. Social connection outside the site will, I think, help this site kick ass.

If you want to tell me I'm an ass who doesn't know what hes talking about or add me on skype or your choice of social networking, post a reply.
