Shift blinked. That had been...abrupt. She watched Vivian walk away for a few seconds before her mind caught up with the shape shifter. Then she followed after the longer haired shifter, catching up after jogging for a few seconds. "Sure! I'd love to go. Thanks.", the Titan answered. This was a much better way to relax than getting chased or into a fight.

Vivian smiled then said with a laugh "Well would you like to lead the way? 'Cause to be honest I have no idea where I'm going." She stuck her hands into her pockets and waited for Athena to take the lead.

Athena blinked - why was Vivian leading the way? - and nodded, moving forward. The Titan stopped, then bit her lip and flipped open the communicator that was usually buckled onto her moss-green belt. It clashed like nobody's business with the yellow and black of the Titans' communicators, but those were the breaks. Besides, it gave GPS co-ordinates, which were extremely useful when you got lost wandering the city/teleported to a weird place/knocked out and left in an alley.

After getting her bearings, the shape shifter turned to the left a little and began walking. "It's this way, I'm pretty sure.", Shift told Vivian, clipping the communicator back onto her belt as she waited for the other girl to catch up a little.

Vivian smiled and slowly jogged to catch up to Athena That's when she took notice of the Titian communicator and stopped where she was "Wait.....you're a Titian?" She was a bit surprised about it and felt a bit awkward when she realized she had just went after a Titian, even though she wasn't aware of it at the time. "Well now I feel really bad about going after you." she said with a nervous chuckle and walked up besides Athena..

There was an awkward beat.

"Well, yeah - who else runs around the city in spandex?", the Titan joked lightly, for lack of anything better to say. She then cleared her throat and made a funny little circular gesture with one hand as she spoke up again. "And it's alright. I'm not the most popular Titan anyways; nobody'd notice if I got eaten."

Vivian laughed and said "Well I obviously didn't pay much attention to that fact." She smiled at Athena and the trees around them got smaller and she could hear the sound of a road nearby. "Well sounds like we're almost there." she said as she slowly jogged ahead and spotted the small diner. Vivian quickly turned around to Athena and said with a smirk "Race ya." She then swiveled back around and began running towards the diner, quickly shifting into a wolf.

Shift grinned and did her thing, after a moment of confusion when Vivian declared their race and leapt forward. It was odd, seeing someone else transform. She shifted as quickly as her dad had - a blink of the eye, maybe a little longer. Banes' transformation had been longer, and obviously painful; that might have been part of why he had left the Titans, to see if he could do some things on his own, just he and the wolf. But Vivians' was different from all of those; no two shifters were the same, though, Athena knew.

In a split second she was chasing after the black haired female wolf, her own dark green fur stark against the brown and grey ground. In the full flush of summer or spring the Titan would have blended right in; at that time of the season, though, the dark furred Vivian seemed less clashing. A bark escaped the Titan's maw as she reached level with her newfound freind, her own wolven form racing a bit behind.

Vivian sent a happy bark back to Athena and quickly glanced back at her, eyes sparking with excitement and joy. She hasn't had this much fun with someone in years and wished it didn't have to end, but they were getting closer to the diner. Vivian took one last glance at Athena with a lupine smile and gunned it. She wanted to see how fast Athena could really go and hoped this "taunting" would worked.

Shift barked right back, holding down a howl as she put it to the metal - or gravel and leaves, as i6t were. She bounded forward, tail wagging madly as her paws bit into the ground below, her lithe geen form catching up with Vivians' just in time to have to skip to a sto[; much closer, and the people who were now staring at them would be running away from them. And if they scared away customers - well, there went that shake.

Slowing down a bit, the green wolf blurred midstep - when she touched down again, Shift was human, momentum keeping her going alongside the wolf-shaped Vivian.

As they got closer to the diner Vivian noticed that people were starting to stare at them and thought it would be a good time to change back. She quickly shifted back to human and continued running with Athena. By then the people who saw them shift began freaking out and running off. Vivian laughed and slowed herself down, reaching out for the diner door hoping to be the first to get there.

(Sorry if this isn't that good of a post I'm brain-dead at the moment XP)
