Fake Rena(Athena)

John had finally finished her. The android was finally complete. Now, he could use it to help him kidnap the leader of the teen Titans, 'Thena. After he activated her, he told her what to do. He told her to teleport into 'Thena's Bedroom, and, take her by surprise. A few seconds later, 'Rena' appeared in 'Thena's bedroom. As soon as 'she' saw where 'Thena was, she said, "Hello, 'Thena."

Okay, what the hell?

Athena wasn't sure if she was dreaming - more like having a nightmare - or if she was hallucinating, or what. Because Rena was dead, and this - this impostor looked like her double. And that wasn't going to happen, because they already had enough troubles, what with half the team depressed and angsty over the teleporters' death, and the other half the team (and most of the city) being quite a bit happier about it, or at least apathetic to the news.

And, if this was the real Rena, then that meant this was the second time she'd pulled this back-from-the-dead crud, except for one major difference; this time, they had a body in that casket. So unless the teleporting teen also had some suddenly-developed come-back-from-the-dead power or something, there was something weird going on right then.

'Maybe I hit my head or something.', the teen thought to herself, swinging her legs over the edge of her bed and rising from bed - wearing her usual pajama's, a pair of baggy purple pants and an old Batman t-shirt. 'Or maybe I'm dreaming or something. That's probably it.', she thought to herself, nodding slightly. her attention turned back onto the doppleganger. it looked so...well, real. Of course it did; if this was a dream, or hallucination, then it would look real, right?

"Rena?", was the only thing that came out of the shape shifters' mouth, groggily.

"Surprised? You didn't really think I'd be dead for long, did you, 'Thena? After all, I AM Blacklist. Anyway, I need you to come with me." Even though she was telling 'Thena this, she was ready to attack 'Thena if she decided to resist her. Her master had wanted 'Thena alive. Therefore, she would make sure that 'Thena was alive when she brought her to him.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

Okay, now she was sure this was a nightmare, because this is what some weird-ass ghost-Rena would say if it were a dream, Shift told herself. maybe it was a bit less dramatic than she had thought a nightmare would be - no blood, none f the injuries she had seen on the corpse - but hey, it was a dream, after all. She couldn't control it anymore than she could control what color her fur was.

"I don't think so, Rena.", Athena told her one-time-freind, standing up slowly, and wondering where her communicator was. It might have been a dream or hallucination or whatever, but if it was real life, and she wasn't just imagining things, then some Titan back0up would come in handy. "But as long as you're here, I think you need to talk to Serenity. She's taking it hard.". the Titan said, raking a hand through her shortly cropped hair, which she had been going to put into some small cornrows.

Talking to Serenity was NOT part of the android's mission. And, 'Thena was obviously not willing to go...Walking over to her, 'Rena' Attempted to grab her by the wrist. She would NOT let 'Thena get away with not coming her.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

Athena moved her arm out of rena's immediate reach, moving away from her bed in the process. The move put Rena between herself and the door, which wasn't the best thing to have had happened. And she couldn't remember where her communicator was, which meant she had probably left it in whichever pants she had been wearing earlier that day, which were strewn about with the others clothes and junk on her floor.

"Hey - I said, I'm not coming with you." The Titans' eyes narrowed after she repeated herself. "And where would you take me, anyway?", the peirced girl asked, frowning.

'Rena' Didn't answer. She just pounced toward 'Thena, in an attempt to tackle her to the ground. Maybe if she could get her pinned to the ground, she would be able to have more success with her mission.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

As her elbow slammed into the floor and her head whacked itself on the side of her dresser, Shift was certain that no, this wasn't any sort of sleep-hallucination, or nightmare, or anything. it was some really, really weird shit going on in reality, as much as she disliked it. And, as much as she hated teleporters, she was beginning to think she hated deceased ones even more than live ones.
That might have had something to do with her now throbbing head, which was probably why her vision was all wobbly and she could feel a sharp pain in it.

"Gerroff me!", the shape shifter muttered, trying to speak through the bits of pain and surprise she felt. And of course this happened when she was in her pajamas; she had horrible luck like that.

'Rena' Didn't get off her. Infact, she stayed on her. She couldn't let the girl go. She had orders. Orders from master. No way was she getting off of her. In an attempt to knock her out cold, she aimed an elbow at the back of 'Thena's head.

Pain.

Lots of pain. And then her vision, which had already had her seeing spots, dimmed and flickered as rena's elbow hit her alread-bonked head, making both the pain and her sense of elf worse. not that it had been all that great to begin with, given the green girls; rampant, understandable, confusion.

Which kind of trailed off when her body said it had had enough pain that it could handle, and decided to shut down for a bit. ie, in laymans terms, she fell unconsious.
