A restless night had spread over the tower. An ominous feeling echoed around the hallways, the lights flickering in tune to the cold spots passing through the halls. No matter how high the heater was turned upon, there was always that cold spot passing around, and never in a consistent place. All that was truly missing on the uncomfortable night for those dwelling within, was the mounting Jaws theme on repeat, as if a monster was to pop around the corner.
The feeling persisted up into the morning, before a single note echoed out into the dim hallways, lit by a barely waking sun. Diinnnnggg. The wake up call to alert those in the common area to a guest, and those that hadn't ripped the wires out in their private rooms to the door bell. Donnnnnggg. The second note came as the first faded out.
The restlessness that pervaded the tower, did not desist as the morning sun pressed over the horizon. Though if anyone could put two and two together, which is something a tad hard to believe that more than one could fail at something so simple, they would gather there was someone at the door. Possibly the culprit of the ominous nature throughout the night.
Just outside the door, a girl stood with blueish grey skin, and a wide, sunken, yellow eyed stare that seemed to be focused on nothing in particular, though one was partially covered by a faded yellow paper with strange symbols. The clothing was like cosplay, but in poor upkeep. The once flambouyant colouration, and fabulous garnish was either faded and wrinkled, or completely fallen away. A spot of drool dripped down her chin, slowly oozing down on cracked lips, originating from a mouth held slightly agape.
Aside from skin and eye colour, she could almost be seen as normal. That is, if it weren't for that she seemed to cast twilight to those in her vicinity. Well, that, and one other thing. There was an oversized note attached to the breast of her robes, with an equally oversized safety pin.
The girlish... thing, reached out, the long black nails, almost like claws, scratching at the door once more, adding another three marks to the several already present. It seemed she'd been taking turns, and scratching the door throughout the uncomfortable night.
