He was possibly in a slump. He wasn't really sure. He found he wasn't really sure of a lot of things nowadays. He still didn't know what to do with himself. Titans Dark didn't seem to have any missions, anything for him to do. At least not anything important. And there was only so much time he could spend chasing ghosts around the base, even in cat form. Sure he had practically endless energy, but he still could get bored easily. And currently, he was bored out of his mind. Maybe he should go and do some solo heroing? ...He didn't have his costume with him. Of course he didn't really have a secret identity. He wore a mask, yes, but Raptor Skylane didn't legally exist. He wasn't born; he didn't have a birth certificate. He wasn't really real... Was he? Whelp, that thought process was definitely a good way to get depressed again. Raptor frowned and stopped walking. He didn't like being upset. He didn't like feeling this way. He needed to cheer himself up. But how? Perhaps he could go see Ian? He hadn't seen Ian in a while. He liked Ian. He really liked him. Whenever he thought about him, he felt funny, but a good kind of funny. He hadn't felt that way in a while and never this strong. Whenever he thought about him, he couldn't help but smile. Was this love? Could he be in love? Did it happen this fast? This... Easily? He was actually so distracted that when he started walking again, he walked straight into a light post. He whined and stepped back, rubbing his face. That was probably going to leave an embarrassing bruise. Luckily, he didn't get embarrassed easily. He wondered if Serenity had seen him running into that before it happened? He wondered how her powers worked. Did she see every future? Did she see just a few? Did she see just what was going to happen? And how did Stephen's magic work? He didn't say words backwards like Raptor did. So magic worked in different ways? He wondered if Stephen could teach him what he knew. He needed to learn more. He needed to fight better. He needed to be able to protect people. He needed to be better. Kicking a rock as he walked down the street, Ian grabbed tightly onto his messenger bag. For once he did not have a bad day at school. He actually enjoyed it. But by the time that schooled he almost ended, his cell phone had died. And now he just wanted to get home to charge it, his phone killed his boredom and he got bored a lot during school. Whenever he was out of school, he was hardly ever bored. What did he do during that time? A lot of things. Draw or hang out with Raptor really.
Although lately Ian had not been hanging out with Raptor recently. He had been overrun with homework and he didn't want to fail out of school and make his grandmother upset. His plan was to hopefully hang out with Raptor during the weekend. If one was to ask how Ian felt about his new friend, well he would blush. He certainly enjoyed Raptor's company. And he had a crush on the boy. But he had no idea how Raptor felt about him.
Hearing a loud thud sort of noise, Ian lifted his head up. Whoever had hit something, had hit it hard and it didn't sound lovely at all. Blinking for a moment, Ian had to do a double take. The boy that had bumped into a pole looked an awfully a lot like Raptor. But surely it wasn't. Maybe he was simply thinking of Raptor too much. That option made more sense.
But as the boy who had collided with a pole turned ever so slightly, Ian was in fact correct; it was Raptor. A smile slowly spread across his face until it reached from one ear to the other it seemed. Now he wouldn't be so bored. But why was Raptor out? That was something he was going to ask him. "Raptor!" he called out happily as he ran over to him quickly. Ian was not the most athletic boy in school, in fact he was the most opposite. By the time Ian got to Raptor, he was a little out of breathe. "Hey" he said once he regained his breathe. WORDS:; 358 TAG:; @whisper MUSE:; N/A NOTES:; Enjoy

Raptor was still a little dazed from hitting that pole when he heard Ian. He'd heard him walking before he'd spoken up - that was one of the perks of having better hearing than humans. He hadn't known it was Ian, though. He'd just assumed someone was coming over to ask if he was okay. He hadn't assumed that someone was Ian. He perked up instantly, though, at the sound of Ian's voice, genuinely smiling. He forgot about the pain in his forehead and threw himself at Ian, wrapping his arms around his shoulders. Thankfully he weight a lot less than any human his age and size so he didn't think he'd knock Ian down. He placed a soft kiss against Ian's cheek, not thinking much about it. He'd once seen Harvey greet Hyo that way, before Rider's Deck had left the town. He'd asked Ishi why Harvey did that, and she'd said it was because Harvey really liked Hyo. Well, Raptor really liked Ian, so he thought it was perfectly normal to greet him like that. If Ian paid close enough attention, he'd most likely find that Raptor was quietly purring before he spoke up - it weirded out a few of his friends that he could purr while in his humanoid form. "Hi!" he beamed, grinning as he looked at Ian, his arms still wrapped around his shoulders. He was standing right up against Ian, even leaning ever-so-slightly forward against him, not even an inch between them. He didn't stop to think that when he grinned, instead of just smiling, his fangs showed. He wasn't even sure if Ian had ever noticed the fact that he had vampire fangs. Despite all that existed and wandered around the Earth, he didn't think Ian assumed he wasn't human, but then again, he wasn't sure how aware the other boy was. He really wanted to tell Ian what he was, who he was, what he did. He really liked Ian. Wasn't it normal to share every detail of yourself and your life with someone you really liked? However... He'd heard stories about loved ones who got hurt because they were associated with a crime-fighter. And he was technically a crime-fighter, right? Did that mean Ian would get hurt just for being his friend? Would the chance of that increase if they became more than friends? He didn't like the thought of that. All of his other friends could protect themselves - they were either crime-fighters too or criminals. Could Ian protect himself, though? "I missed you!" Raptor announced, making no move to step away or stop leaning against Ian. He blinked, curiosity etching its way into his expression. "Did you miss me? If so, can we hang out? I like being with you. We haven't hung out in a while, I think we should change that." He was starting to ramble, but he stopped himself and giggled, smiling shyly not at Ian. He may have been more out-going than his half-brother, Carlos, but he still had his shy moments. And giggling when he was happy was one of the traits he shared with his brother. Arthur told him he was adorable so Raptor logically thought that meant he, himself, was adorable. And he liked being adorable. WORDS:; 542 OUTFIT:; linkTAG:; @ian MUSE:; n/a NOTES:; cuties uwu <3

The kiss on the cheek was something Ian was not expecting at all. He didn't hate it, it just came out of the blue and surprised the young boy. His feelings for Raptor only increased and grew more intense each time he actually got to hang out with him. Ian knew that he liked him, a lot, but he wasn't sure if wanted to let Raptor know just yet. Or ever. The last time he had gotten close with another person, it ended horrible and resulted in him being hospitalized & him eventually moving in with his grandmother for a while.
Hearing the Raptor had in fact missed Ian, a smile spread across his face. Rappy was the first person, that was not family, to actually say that to him and mean it. He could feel his cheeks turn pink as he continued to smile. "I missed you too" he said happily.
Ian nodded his head, agreeing with Rappy. He wanted to change that, greatly. "I'm sorry" he apologized, a small frown on his face. Any of his free time that he got now, he had tried to spend it with Raptor. He just didn't have his phone number, or else he would spam him with texts all day long. Ian nodded his head to Raptor's question. "Yes I did miss you. I have been really busy with homework though, I was up until late almost every night just trying to finish it" he explained, hoping that Raptor would not be upset with him about it. He always when teachers seemed to pile homework on top of homework and thus creating a never ending loop of it.
"Yeah we can hang out again. I was just heading back home from school, you can walk with me" Ian suggested, playfully nudging Rappy's shoulder with his own. When it came to flirting, he was horrible at it. He mainly never knew what to say or how to act. And after many failed attempts, he would typically give up. Biting his bottom lip, Ian's gaze went from Raptor to the ground in front of him. If he would continue to see this boy, he wanted to get his feelings for him off of his chest. And if Raptor didn't like him, well then they could still be pals. Right?

He watched Ian with genuine compassion. He didn't know why he apologized - what was there to be sorry for? Had Ian been avoiding him? His smile faltered at that thought. He didn't like that thought. He blinked, confused. He didn't know what homework was. He was fairly certain he'd heard that word before, but... He didn't have a memory that helped him define it. But whatever it was, it didn't sound pleasant if it took so long and kept Ian away from him. "What's homework?" he asked, easily going off topic. It was hard for him to stay on topic for long, though he could bounce back and forth from one topic to another. "It doesn't sound nice. Maybe I can help with it?" He couldn't, but he didn't know that. He didn't have any education - anything he knew, he'd learned from his mom, friends, and the occasional internet search. What he could do was distract Ian from his homework. That sounded like fun. He knew what school was, though. Did homework come with school? He smiled playfully at the nudge, a quiet and content cat-like purr coming from his throat. He liked the idea of spending more time with Ian. He thought Ian was getting more comfortable around him, and he liked that. He wasn't sure how Ian would react if he were to learn about the fact that he was some sort of demonic hybrid vampire-thing. But if Ian had noticed his fangs at all, Raptor didn't know. "I can hang out at your home too," he offered, then caught himself. "Only if you want me to." He didn't want to intrude... Well okay, he did want to intrude, but he'd been told once that that wasn't polite. He'd been told it was best to be invited in. He remembered Harvey had even asked if he needed to be invited in because he was part vampire. He wasn't really sure, especially since he wasn't that in-tune with his vampire genes. He blinked in confusion when Ian said he had something to tell him. His mind quickly worked to try to figure out what it was ahead of time, but he couldn't come up with anything. It wasn't bad, was it? "What is it?"
