Rena was gone.
No one really seamed to care that much, the police even went so far as to celebrate her death as a good thing. The FBI were happy to put her on the deceased list of criminals of the past. And the citizens, well the people of Jump were happy to see her go. No overjoyed was a better word. It fit the happiness of the people better than the word happy did. Happy was to generic to describe what they felt about her death. Overjoyed was a much better word.
It wasn't fair for her just to see her as blacklist. Behind the lightless eyes was Rena. And she deserved to be recognized.
She hadn't even seen it coming. Not even a hint of what might have come if she didn't put a stop to it. She had had no warning other then the shock of seeing her friend pinned up. And that morning she had been happy, no not happy, enthralled that the spirit world was at a peaceful junction. Nothing had crossed her mind. Or her vision that her friend would die later that day. She might have even prevented it from happening.
It sucked not knowing.
She glanced down at the floor where on the first story below her she knew rested a pile of notebooks filled with her own bad Chinese writing and poor language skills. They had been laughing over them while teasing Serenity about how she would actually have to practice to learn unlike most of her schooling where she could look into the future and learn without really putting that much of an effort into it.
She held the tears back as she glanced around her bedroom. It was quiet, a total pigsty and cold as it was snowing outside in the world beyond her room.
Sorina was out looking for Rena's spirit something that the medium had refused to do. She wasn't going to tell her friend to let go of everything that had connected her to the life that she had lived and move on. She wouldn't put Rena in that position or herself in that position either. She hadn't even searched for her friends spirit to see if her spirit had stayed behind as a ghost.
She felt the back of her head hit the wall of her room as she fell against the wall. This shouldn't have happened to Rena, that shouldn't have happened to anyone. She should have been able to see it at least.
Some psychic she was.[/size]
