Vivian softly chuckled, partially at Athena's remark, and softly smiled at her. She was happy Athena was here, she was one of the few that Vivian actually felt comfortable with. Though she was surprised that Athena hadn't pulled her hand away like she had anticipated. Vivian quietly sighed and looked around at the bare trees and dead grass.
After a few moments of silence, Vivian looked back to Athena and said "Hey Athena, I was wondering, Would you mind if I gave you your Christmas present now?" Though Christmas was still a few days away Vivian no longer had the patience to wait. She wanted to give Athena her gift and she prayed she would say yes.

Shift shrugged, wondering what Vivian had in mind. Nothing expensive - she couldn't accept anythign expensive, since the werepyre had just admitted she usually went dumpster diving on Christmas. But it was probably sweet, since Vivian did seem the thoughtful type, if a bit airheaded on other matters...like wearing winter-style clothing, even if just to detract attention and blend in a little.
"Um, sure, but -- I don't have anything to give to you right now.", the hologram'ed teenager replied, shivering a little as the wind picked up. geez! It usually wasn't this cold in Jump City, or maybe that was just because she was usually a polar bear or something when she went outside instead of a human. [/size][/color] |

Vivian's face instantly beamed with excitement and replied back "Don't worry about getting something for me. You've already given me enough with just being here with me." The instant she said that she knew she said a bit too much and lowered her gaze from Athena's face, gently bitting her lower lip.
She really needed to learn how to keep her mouth shut with things like this and she hoped what she said hadn't made Athena uncomfortable. She cleared her throat and gave a nervous chuckle then continued, "Uh...anyways I know it's not much but," her voice became softer as she offered her hand to Athena and slowly opened it revealing the bracelet to Athena, the rocks seeming to shimmer in the light. "Merry Christmas."
