Shift nodded as Vanessa answered her. The others were dealing - in their own ways. Coping in a good way, though? Kidging by irazehls' ragged cry from a moment ago, probably not. There would be therapy, and lots of it, in the future - even if they didn't want to go, the titan would make sure her teammembers went. She would make them go; things like this, that clearly had a horrific impact, needed to be dealt with healthily. She might even go for a few sessions; just to...get her head cleared up.

Shift stayed apart from the others; she had to stay together, be solid and sturdy, be a rock. She was stone, solid and steady and unflappable. She was calm, the unrippled surface of a calm lake. She would deal with the cops, with the investigation s that would no doubt occur, and try to sheild her team from the business-y side of things. She could handle it; they couldn't. not like they were, especially right then.
"Thank you, Vanessa.", the shape shfiter said to the volunteering teen. Then she turned to face the assembeled, loosely-circled group. "Now - I need to know; who was the first one here? And did anyone touch the door, or the blood, or anything else in that vicinity? You have to tell me now, or the police will find out, and you'll be under even more suspect."
