TEEN TITANS, GO!

Athena heard her boots crunching on the snowy ground as she walked closer to the small group. Her dark eyes caught the language-transferring kiss, the small, helpful gestures the supers were giving the alein girl. Who, if she wasn't mistaken, was a Voltrixian. And, given her history with that ccertain kind of alien, she was pretty sure she was right. Then again - well, things did happen, and --
Ooh, blood. the shape shfiter wrinkled her nose, and moved her line of adress a little, so she wasn't getting a snoutful of the coppery smell. She really didn't like blood; it messed up her insides, and it just looked nasty anyways, even without her more primitive instincts egging that bad feeling on. other things were afoot, though - three guys, two girls,
Vivian she recognized; the others were nobodies to her, they could've been just normal people on the street. But normal people didn't walk halfway into the forest when there was snow on the ground for no good reason. And they had that tell-tale shifty look about them; she knew the look, because the shape shifter knew she herself had it. It takes one to know one, and all that.
"If you were going to take her to the Tower anyway-" her eyes darted to Ricochet, who had first said something like that - "- then I could take her myself. But the hospital would be a much better first stop; they've got actual doctors and medicine.", Shift added, her tone holding a hint of 'why the hell did you think it would be a good idea to bring her to where a bunch of teenagers live?' in it. There it was – another voice.
A female, it seemed. Though a little deeper then the other, it felt a little sincere. She heard the annoyed tone in the voice. It was obvious who these people were talking about. Raephen shivered some more, body almost like an earthquake. She was freezing; she knew that much. It was obvious. Her white hair seemed almost hidden from the newly fallen flakes. The flakes fell rapidly. Another storm? She hoped not.
Still, she had people with her. They could keep her safe. She hoped for that too. Her lips twisted slightly as her stomach rumbled once again quite loudly. She leaned against the boy, her head on his shoulder as she griped tighter to his jacket. She hated this place more so then she had. She felt safe, before those flying machines on whirly wings appeared, flashing down and following her until she reached this place. Their eyes were so bright, o menacing. She had seen warships in her lifetime, yet nothing like that!
Nothing so monstrous.
Or perhaps she had. Raephen had been locked in cellars for so long, it had been nice to feel the fresh air. Nothing their was so freezing. The galaxy was nothing to this. It was worse, it felt. Much worse. The air was freezing to her lungs, penetrating with slight pains. And the ground... What was it covering the ground? White, powdery, and quite frankly freezing? She tried to get into a slight hover, trying to get her feet out of the cold and in the air. She had no energy to do so.
Her nostrils were flared at this point, her breathing abnormal. Or it seemed. She keep trying to push, to heave herself upwards. She looked almost pathetic in her attempts. She sighed heavily and fell back into a lean.
He was so warm compared to her.

Vivian didn't know what to think as this girl clung onto the guy. She slowly stood and was about to look at the girl wound when Athena appeared. She felt a bit relieved when she saw her crush; Athena probably had more experience with things like these.
She slowly nodded her head in agreement and said, "Yeah that'd probably be the best thing to do. But, could you get her there fast enough before she bled to death, or became unconscious, if her wounds are that bad?"
That was one of the only problems that had at the moment, they didn't know how bad the girl's wounds were. They could only be minor wounds, but they could also be serious. Vivian looked back at the girl and slowly kneeled down next to her side and carefully tried to see how bad the wounds were.

More people, because that was exactly what they needed.
Then it sunk in who the latest person was, and he figured maybe it was what they needed. His brow creased slightly. The Titan leader was a huge deal, what were her powers again? Something with shape-shifting? He had stop paying attention to the news ages ago, but her face was still the main one of heroics. Animals, that was it, he remembered. She could transform into animals. If anybody was going to get the otherworldly girl to the hospital, it was going to be Shift. What had he planned on doing for her in the first place? Carry her? Yeah, because that would have gone over just brilliantly. With his usual luck, it probably would have made things even worse.
And this wasn't something silly like a trip to the store, having bad luck now was, well, bad.
"I'm coming with you." He wasn't sure why he had announced that. His cheeks flared red. He certainly wasn't going to go with them to the T-Tower, that was ridiculous. The hospital was another story. He nodded slowly. "I've got a car, if you can get her there, I'll follow." It still required more walking than he would have preferred, but he felt it was too late to back out now. He had come out this way, only to find a mismatched group of people, one of whom was bleeding out in the cold. It wasn't his usual style, but it was a bit too late to say he was calling it a day. He frowned slightly. "I guess then you wouldn't have to be in the hospital filing reports and stuff." Having one random teenager busy was better than having a Titan busy, he figured, no matter where his allegiances lied.
He glanced at Mark. The other guy still seemed familiar, but he wasn't sure how. A client? That seemed like an odd bet. He doubted any Titans had ever come his way while he had been in business, and the guy had suggested the Tower. He glanced to the package of candy. "Yeah, I'd say that it's a safe bet to give them to her." She was still hungry, after all, and it was the only food he could spot. He continued to frown a bit. The longer he stayed, the more he was stuck in the situation. Still, his vision had dragged him out here. He couldn't ignore it, and this girl would be dead if nobody had found her. He peered into the girl's face, brow creased. "Just hang on, okay?"
His eyes then slid to Vivian. "Can you tell how bad it is?"

"I can get her there - probably faster than your car.", Shift said, nodding. She studied Raephen - or, more accuratly, her wounds. They were covered by the little she wore, which seemed to be a shirt, a tatty old blanket and somebody's more newly-used scarf. The Titans' stomach only roiled because of the blood that had turned some of the snow on the ground of Raephen's feet scarlet, a stark contrast to the white flakes that still fell, and the snow on the ground around them.
Whatever had happened - and she bet it would have happened somewhere in the upper atmosphere, seeing as how Raephen had had to do the touch-for-language thing - could be investigated later. The wounds weren't bleeding like the self-inflicted kind usually did; they were higher up, for one thing, and - well, the alien smelled of energy. Not the kind organisms use; not the human or alien energy, that is, but ship-energy. Like maybe she'd been shot at? Aleins were a more regular occurence on Earth nowadays, but Shift wouldn't have been surprised to hear some Air Force pilot had freaked and shot at the Voltrixian.
