AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
TEAM: East Titans
SIDE: Hero
OCCUPATION: Student
NATIONALITY: British
HISTORY: Sai grew up in England with his mother, an Olympic gold archer. When he was old enough, every summer he would go with her to the archery camp she taught at. He was often described as the perfect son. He loved to see his mother smile so he did everything he thought would make her happy. He got straight As, always went to church on Sundays with her without complaining and would sit quietly in the pew and listen to her at night when she would read the Bible. He’d pray with her before every meal. He would help her out around the house and go with her to the store whenever she asked. At camp, he excelled in his lessons and around the age of thirteen became a teacher for the younger kids. On his fourteenth birthday, his mother told him who his father was, however even she wasn’t aware that his father was Red Arrow. All his mother knew was that he was Roy Harper, an American. Later that night, while he was sleeping, he awoke to the sound of a struggle. When he came into the living room, he found his mother on the floor, murdered by Natalie Scorn, a member of Nebula. Fearing for his life, he fled, taking his passport and using what money he had to get a plane ticket to America. He landed in Star City. Inspired by Green Arrow and his family, Sai took on the persona of Speedy, using the archery his mother had taught him to stop crime as well as keep himself protected. He made his way to Steel City where he joined the East Titans. Though a loyal member of the East Titans, he spends most of his days in Jump City, helping Shift and her Teen Titans.
FAMILY:
- Angelina Stellar / Mother (deceased)
- Roy ‘Red Arrow’ Harper / Father
PERSONALITY: Sai is often the silent type, though when it comes down to it, he isn’t afraid to speak up and voice his thoughts. He simply prefers minding his own business. Once considered the perfect child by his mother’s friends, he feels he is struggling to keep up that title while wanting to just be a kid at times. He often puts a lot of responsibility on himself, especially when it comes to the safety of others. He is a trustworthy and loyal friend as well as ally. He tries to see the good in everybody, though he isn’t always able to. He’s snarky and a smartass at times, often making fun of and egging on his enemies.
DISLIKES: losing, remembering his mother’s death, never having met his father.
DREAMS: nothing at the moment.
FEARS: failure of any kind.
HOPES: to meet his father.

The jacket is over a dark red t-shirt, and his pants are black and made of leather. INTRODUCTION: Sai Harper exited the jail house, groaning and running a hand through his dark hair. He hated it when the police were unable to take a criminal to jail so he had to. That was only when the local law enforcement was busy, however, and apparently they were either lazy that day or busy. So he had been stuck hauling a robber's ass to jail. It wasn't a lovely task to do at all, especially since the guy fought almost the entire way. Eventually, he had threatened to shove an arrow up his behind and that had seemed to do the trick and shut him up. Now he just wanted to return to the Tower and see if there was any laid-back work he could do. He was currently dressed in his costume, which was brownish-red pants, a black sleeveless jacket unzipped with the hood down, a brownish-red long-sleeved shirt with an arrow design on it, black boots, black gloves, a golden belt, and a black domino mask. His brown eyes were hidden by the mask.
Though he was related to the famous Arsenal, or Roy Harper, most wouldn't guess that at first glance. He mostly took after his mother when it came to his looks. His attitude, as far as he knew, was a lot like his mother's as well. He could be hot-headed and short tempered at times, but mostly kept his cool and tried his best to be respectable and kind. Of course criminals rarely saw his kind side; they usually had to deal with his temper. To say he was his mother's son would be enough to sum up his personality. He had a sometimes thick British accent that was a lot like his mother's. He behaved like her at times, saying 'bloody hell' a lot, and giving his friends a light smack upside the head when he was irritated with them-- just like she had once done to him.
The young archer didn't know his father, but he doubted he was anything like him. He had heard stories of the 'great' Roy Harper aka Arsenal. He didn't doubt that the man was a great hero and most likely a great man, but he didn't know him. Since he didn't know him, he had decided that he wouldn't form any opinions on the man, whether they were good or bad. He would remain unemotional, unphased. Did Roy even know he had been born? His mother had wrote his father a letter before she died, but he had it, not Roy. He hadn't opened it, naturally, out of respect for his mother. Just like she had written him a letter, and he expected Roy to never read it.
Pushing the thoughts out of his head, Speedy flipped his hood on. He wondered if he should head back to Steel City sometime soon, but decided against it. His teammates weren't very fond of him for some reason. Maybe it was because he often went to Jump City? He felt more at home at Jump, however, than at Steel. Or maybe it was because he wasn't that good with their chain of command? His mother had often told him that he was a natural leader. He put everyone's safety before his own, but wasn't afraid to make a decision that most wouldn't want to. He understood where the line was that a leader, that a hero could not cross. He saw that line as clear as day and prayed to God that he would never cross it.
