There was a dark presence invited within the tower. A threatening shadow behind every corner. It could have been hard for those to sleep, knowing what lay awake, wandering the halls at night, loitering in the corners during the day. Watching, observing all those that passed under its gaze.
There was little that could be done, however, to exorsize this foul spirit. After all, it was eitehr that, or let the thing sleep out in the cold. Despite this gesture, likely found this grey skinned girl's existence unsettling. You couldn't blame them, their reluctance to remain in the same room. Jian was above them all in the food chain, metaphorically speaking, as she ate living things, not for their flesh, but their chi.
"Haaa...."
The creature that had introduced itself earlier as Jian, didn't necessarily breathe, but imitated the sounds of it, perhaps as an effort to connect with those around her. At least it was easy to determine if she was approaching or loitering. The pair of bells attached to the once beautiful clothing on her skeletal frame made sure of that. If it wasn't immediately obvious by the colder temperatures, malevelent presence, and other choice signs.
Ching...
The creature, Jian, hopped forward, clawed hands extending out in front for balance. Ching. She was exploring again, wandering the halls in the twilight. Occasionally the lights around her would flicker. An electrical surge perhaps, or was she sapping the energy, like she did many things.
"ha...."
Entering the kitchen, she stood still, inhumanly still, only the fogged yellow eyes slowly shifting around, peering for movement. Ching!
Hop. Hop. This thing is odd. What is this thing? Jian reached out slowly, as if to grasp the handle. "Open says me..."
The door creaked slowly opening, making far more noise than it would normal, though her head nearly beckoned it, a form of telekenesis. Within, was a horrible stench, a terrifying existance, thought only to be within the wildest of eldritch dreams. A terrible splorch of mould dripped from the roof of the refrigerator.
Hissssss! The mould could even make noises.
So could the undead girl. "Hiisssss," and so went their match, back and forth, hissing at each other.

Being a fresh member of the Teen Titans, being in this tall building at night wasn't a comfortable feeling for the Main Character himself, Andre Diego. He lay in his new bed, tapping his fingers on his nightstand and fiddling with anything he could get his hands on. He couldn't sleep in this bed, it wasn't his... not yet anyway. Tomorrow morning he would try and make the room feel a little more like his own, and try to get to know his fellow Titans a little better. "Damn..." He sighed, his feet shaking at a speed that nearly shook his whole bed out of boredom, and his stomach grumbling. "Hungry..." Slumping out of bed he switched on the light for a moment in order to find a T-Shirt so that if anyone else where up in this hour, they wouldn't be forced to see the unprepared and sleepless upper body of a bored teenager. However that looks anyway. Moving through the hallways as quiet as he could so as not to wake anyone, he made his way towards the kitchen. He nearly got lost on the way, this building was still all new to him, but he was sure it would feel like a good setting for his story in, and would be a fun place to live. Entering the kitchen, he was greeted by a strange sight. He couldn't see much in the dark, but what he could make out was someone hissing into a refrigerator. Rubbing his eyes to assert the reality of the situation once more, he responded. "Hello?"

Jian reached out to the fridge mold currently trying its best to tell the undead girl that this fridge was its territory.
It retreated from her reach, rather than trying to posture anymore. You don't posture against something like Jian. You fight, cry, or run. In this case, cry.
Jian hesitated though, the sharp fingernails poking out from her billowy sleeve long sleeve, unnaturally still it sat in the air.
That was one thing he would notice being in the same room as this thing, was how cold it was in this room. The heater made sounds, so that was working, but Jian had also been in here for a bit now, having a hissy fit with a bit of mold.
Hello?
The clawed fingers slowly withdrew back into the sleeve, or did the sleeve pull itself back over them?
Standing up straight from it, he would notice the hissing girl was wearing odd clothing. Not just odd for this part of the world, but time period. Some kind of wrap around dress with a wide belt keeping it close at her waist.
Her head turned to the side, looking to the boy, yellowed eyes peering from sunken sockets. She hopped once, spinning, then refocused on him, before straightening her head.
Each movement was done individually, as if she had to specifically think about each one. Her mouth was open, and a bit of drool clung to her lower lip. Inside you could see the points of her teeth, needle sharp. Partially covering one of her foggy eyes, a yellowed piece of parchment clung to her forehead, symbols remniscent of the eastern languages were written on it in red.
"hello."
She hopped a bit closer, the twin pair of bells jingled at her waist when she made the awkward hop, unable to move her joints much.

He hadn't noticed it before now, but he didn't like this room. Maybe it was the refrigerator making it so cold, but the chill in the air definately showed that the whirr of the heater meant nothing for warmth. Watching as the figure stood up straight the light started to show the unusual garments that the figure wore. They looked similar to a Kimono, like the ones girls wear in japan... but a lot older. The figure in the shadows was feminine, and the yellowed sunken eues looked back towards him causing a kneejerk reaction of shock for a moment. Twitching as he stepped back before gathering his senses, he noticed the slow and rigid movements of the girl. With eyes like that was it even a girl? More of a thing, really. A creature, and probably undead too. Slow though, so it seemed harmless enough.
He received a hello in response as the 'girl' hopped slightly closer, the chime of bells being heard. "I'm Andre... who are you?" He asked. He made his way to the tower a bit late and slipped into the first room he found, assuming it was his since he was new, so besides any quick glances he hadn't met anyone yet. He assumed this person was a Titan too, but something felt a little off. about this.

The closer he came to Jian, the colder it was. To the point where his breath began to mist in front of him. The door to the refrigerator swung shut, clacking loudly itself, sudden noise in the dampened room. She hopped closer to him once again. Ching! His thoughts were close about her strange outfit. Her clothing wasn't japanese. It was chinese, as was the writing on the tag, if he could read ancient script of a different language, that was. Her lips curled back, revealing in a less subtle sense her needle teeth.
"Andre" Spoken flat, with no treble in her voice, matching his pronounciation. A call to her chinese origin, where tone and inflection in speech changed the meanings of ones words by a major degee.
A hand slowly reached up between them, removing itself from the sleeve, the claws beckoning him to come closer, gesturing stiffly. Now, even in the unknown, Jian was an unsettling creature, teeth and claws doing that enough would stop anyone from approaching her normally. And yet her beckoning was tempting.
Really tempting, as it would wash in his hand that it was a good idea. Almost like it would be very satisfactory being closer to this walking nightmare. "Andre, who?" she asked, beckoning once more. A dangerous charm, indeed.

A reflexive shiver from the cold rolled through Andre's body as she hopped closer once more, her needle-like teeth being revealed causing a slightly wide-eyed expression as he processed it in his mind. Note to self, he thought, stay away from those. He continued. Hearing her say his name in such a flat and toneless voice was also a little eerie, but still not as worrying as the teeth that had been revealed just a moment ago. He nodded, assuming this was an assertion that she could pronounce it, or just confirmation that she had heard him correctly. She rose her hand up between the two, here pointed fingers rolling stiffly towards herself, calling him in closer. Now, in any other situation like this Andre would have bolted out of this frozen and unfamiliar environment without a second though, but this... this was different. He could feel it in his bones, that he wanted to come closer. That it was fine, and that it would be satisfying if he walked closer. And so he did, his voice slow and calm as he responded to her question, now a step closer. "Andre Diego..." He stated his full name.

Among all the supernatural entities Stephen Constantine had encountered or heard of, usually whispered in dark rooms by ghosts centuries old, the threat of the zombie or ghoul always bugged him. They were trivial creatures focused solely on consuming, but they had no soul. Constantine could see ghosts, so seeing disembodied souls was common. Zombies never had ghosts. He never saw one soul. A constantly hungry, consuming ghost was a frightening prospect. Perhaps that's why Stephen had to hide his nerves when he decided to stop by the Titan Tower to investigate the ludicrous idea that there would be a zombie here among the heroes. Surely they knew the danger of such a monster in their midst. Wouldn't they have gladly exterminated an inhuman thing like that? What if it turned some of the team members? Constantine wanted to rid the world of that possibility. Zombies had no place in the land of the living or the dead. Stephen nibbled on his candy-cigarette as he walked through the tower. The gentle hum of electronics reminded him that there was no such thing as silence. Stephen had heard what sounded like a cat hissing earlier; it was probably Shift or Rappy. So far, there was nothing that seemed out of the ordinary in the deserted building. Then he heard a voice from the kitchen. Even if he hadn't been hunting the undead, the monotone utterance of a name sounded unearthly enough to investigate. The door to the kitchen opened silently, Constantine scanned the room quickly, and he froze. Eurocentric views are abound in Western civilization. Unfortunately, this applied to Constantine's education on the supernatural. What he saw was definitely some sort of undead with sinister claws drawing in its prey, but he didn't know everything about the thing in front of him. He knew the name was something like a Jiang-chi, gian-ji, or whatever meant stiff corpse, but he couldn't fight it effectively. All this flashed in a brief moment before Constantine ran across the room and dove to knock the “prey” away from the zombie with a shout of, “ZOMBIE! GET DOWN!”WORDS: 352 OUTFIT: Dress slacks, white shirt, red tie, suspenders, and his trench-coat TAG: Jian @timecraked MUSE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNTjM3_0N80NOTES: www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0HLAKm1_1Q <= his thoughts

"Diego."
The lights dimmed as he approached, flickering about them noisily. Her hand opened as he came closer to grasp him as soon as he came in range. It didn't come to that though. Surprising for both of them, or at the very least the undead girl was surprised by the sudden interruption of someone tackling her plaything. A stranger taking their hand, and saying 'Run' out of nowhere. Bonus points for hallways in sub basements.
Her claws had just been about to brush against the boy too, unfortunate.
Her eyes followed the pair of boys crashing to the ground, rolling away from her. She let her hand be still within the air. Though the room seemed to warm up a bit by Constantine's presence, or the interruption of her charm helped. She merely lamented the small fact of missing her potential meal, or satiate her curiosity.
She heard the yelled warning of ZOMBIE GET DOWN! To which, she seemed to figure out how to lace more words together. "Zombie?! WHO?!?" SHe seemed startled by the revelation of a zombie presence, turning her head to look left and right.
Jian fell back landing with a thud, bouncing lightly against the ground, her hand still frozen in the air as if she was still grasping for the man. "ZOMBIE, GET DOWN," she declared staring up at the ceiling.THe lights halted their flickering too, so that was a thing.

With a flicker of the lights, he heard his last name repeated in the same flat tone as his first name had been before. A silence was created for a moment, the flickering lights and the seductive temptation to walk closer once more still incredibly strong, until the silence broke. With a sudden shove and a loud shout, a stranger ran into the room and tackled Andre right right to the ground, shouting from the top of his lungs "ZOMBIE! GET DOWN!" Andre was on the ground, a loud thunk being heard as his head hit the kitchen floor. "Ow... Hey, what the hell man?" He asked the stranger, not all that away of the minor hypnotification that had happened, and only thinking he had just been standing near Jian for but a moment.
Then, as he looked up from the floor over the shoulder of his 'savior' he saw a peculiar sight indeed. The sunken-eyed girl seemed startled or worried, as she turned her head from left to right, asking who or where the zombie was. Then, with a sudden thunk she fell backwards herself, her hand frozen upright pointing towards the ceiling. She shouted the same words as the man that had tackled him, and Andre was now really confused.

Outside of Titan Tower, behind the layer of raindrops the continued to streak down the pane window, a figure watched, suspended in the air. Faceless. It did not understand what was happening but the longer the scene went on, the more curious it became. Draped across its small frame, the black hooded sweater dissipated into their original nano-robots and back to its humanoid form. It wanted to observe closer, wouldn't it be funny to watch the strange creatures up close. It was like a child at the zoo, the pane of glass more of an annoyance then a deterrence of potentially dangerous situations.
The consciousness pressed itself against the glass, only becoming aware of its presence when the chrome faceless mask knocked against it. The audible "clink" made the being cautious before it suddenly darted to the side in a large cloud of dark nano-robots. Looking about, it found the opening to the heater. A way inside. The now formless cloud slipped inside through the small openings of the heater, its chrome mask able to fit in easily horizontally. Travelling through, the black mist of robots began to form its humanoid figure on the inside, a frail human body that stood up at 5'6" and it's mask which floated into place on the absence of a face.
It looked around, all the creatures had ended up on the floor somehow, such clumsy things. Mimicking the group, it dispersed into a cloud once more before forming its humanoid figure, thrown onto the kitchen floor.
