New Guy [open/titans]

As Irazehl made for the meeting room, he let his new green teammate take the lead once more. As the two walked, his head tilted to and fro as he scanned the walls and ceiling as if expecting something of interest to appear spontaneously. Nothing did. And upon arrival at the meeting room, he snapped into focus. Well, what for him was a decent focus. The only time he could truly focus 100% was while on the job.

As he came upon the meeting room, he listened to her words carefully as he looked at the television and then the consoles. He could already see it: an important face on the screen with the eyes covered by a black bar, and him, spinning around in his swivel chair restlessly. He grinned as he invisioned the sight. His overall opinion of the room was that it seemed... boring. He never really liked meetings, they were boring and he would always have to force himself to pay attention.

"Whats next, kitchen? living room?" He looked to Athena expectantly.

Shift shurgged, heading towards the door and the hallway outside of that. "The living room, I guess. Then the kitchen.", she decided, looking over her shoulder to see Irazehl as they spoke. "And don't worry, we've got a lot of different kinds of food - I'm a vegetarian, so there's always some veggies around, if not meat or something.", the Titan leader added, nose wrinkling slightly at the thought of fried animals. Like her illustrius father, the shape shifters' excuse was that she had been most of those animals, which is why she equated eating meat to cannibalism.

"What do you eat?", Shift asked, leaving the door open as she stepped out into the hallway and walked towards the kitchen. This part of the Tower she knew like the back of her hand. Now, the lower parts were a bit more difficult, mostly because she didn't like the dark, creepy aura she got from the few stories built underneath the Tower.

"It just so happens, Im a vegan. You know, animal cruelty, and all that jazz." Irazehl almost slapped himself for not mentioning before his debatably strange eating habits. "It drve everyone insane in Teen titans east when i got cooking duty. We had no shape shifters. Eventually I started growing my own food; its as easy as thinking. So, you know, if we ever need to restock the kitchen with organic produce, I'm your guy." Seeing as she was a veggy lover, he felt he would be taken up on that offer. He found it a bit odd that she had lead him to the kitchen first, when she said she would take him to the living room first. He didn't call her out on it, she must have lost her train of thought on the whole 'what do you eat' tangent.

Although for somewhat different reasons, Shift brightened up a bit when Irazehl told her he was vegan; another 'leaf eater', as some people called it. Of course, vegan was a bit more gung-ho than vegetarian, but the basics were still the same. And he could grow food; if he didn't work out as a superhero, Athena thought with a small smile, he could at least get some work as a green grocer.

"I think I might - thanks for the offer.", Shift told her newest teammate, pausing as they reached the living room. "Here's the living room - and the kitchen's through that door.", the shape shifter said, gesturing towards said door, which had no handle and simply swung either way. It made it easier to carry food around, although the Titan occasionally thought that it had been installed because her teammates were just plain lazy sometime.

He was quite glad he had held his tongue for fear of looking like an idiot. He felt quite comfortable in the living room. It had the aura of a room of rest. It felt quit a bit less industrial than the rest of the tower. He knew he would take lots of power-naps here.

"Sweet. I like this room. Its like, kind of...crunchy..." On that last word, he screwed his face up as if wondering how in the hell that adjective came up in his mind. "I mean laid back." He added as a save.

Shift raised an eyebrow at the unusual description. "Crunchy?", she echoed, before grinning slightly at his saving rebuff of 'laid back'. "Much better.", the shape shifter said, hiding her smile as she looked at the room itself. 'Crunchy? Really?' The teenager shook her head, picking up one of the random CDs laying around and setting on the top of the low-set table in front of the large-screen tv.

"Do you want to see the kitchen, or somewhere else?", Shift asked, turning back to the blonde plant-maker.

"Would you prefer juicy?" he said chuckling. To0 answer her question he added "I think I have this tower figured out. I can just explore tommorrow. Till then, I'm going to go try to find some more titans." He looked over his shoulder as if expecting to see another new titan there.

He made a mental note to draw a map of the area, in his bout of exploration. Green reached out once more, this time without soil in his hand, as if for a real handshake. He smiled while he said, "Well, thanks for the tour, I look forward to kicking some serious ass with you."

"Alright then. The others are nice - you should get along with them fine.", Shift said, nodding as he excused himself from the rest of the tour. Which the shape shifter was glad for - she was running out of places to show him that he would need to know about. The kitchen, the living room, the training and meeting rooms...Not much else. The peirced teenager noted that the blonde was holding out his hand, so she took it and shook solidly.

"Yeah, me too.", the Titan replied, a pointy-toothed smirk on her peirced, green face. She was glad to see someone else who took their job seriously. And, better yet, he hadn't hit on her.
