Tian gave it back. "He's just cold. We should get to the tower. He won't last much longer, okay?" She sighed. "I'll meet you back there?"

You need a lift?" Rena asked, seeming a little bored, accepting Serenity as a friend... Sort of a friend, as much as a Titan and a Villain could get alteast.

Tian sighed. "I'll take you, 'kay?" she said. "You'll need to hold Kura though," she told her. She still had the boy in her arms. "But we'll need to hurry."

Serenity had a quick flash back of her last flight with Tian and quickly stepped next to Rena, "I think I'll go with Rena," she said quickly glancing at the large expanse of water between her and the tower.
Sorina rolled her eyes and huddled in the green eyed mediums arms, "Wimp." she teased lightly.

"Whatever." Two large wings appeared on Tians back. She flapped them and floated in the air for a moment. "I'll see you there." She took off through the doors and toward the tower.

Rena touched Serenity on her cheek, where there was no cloth between the two, and held it there. "You ready, Serenity?"

Serenity was about to nod but realized that that would be stupid as it would dislodge Rena's hand so she put one hand over Rena's, "Yes." she said softly.
Sorina rolled her eyes, "As ready as you'll ever be you mean."

Hold your breath, or you'll be hurtin' " Rena said, and teleported. A deep suffocating feeling made the near instantaneous transmission seem like much longer. Even to those like Sorina, assuming the bird'd be teleported along with, as they were no longer in regular space, but in sub-space,it'd feel like they were suffocating.
Sub-Space is a secondary way to travel, but not even the greatest machines could penetrate it, as the main way can't be reached through electricity, as electricity only travels at a fixed rate, that of the speed slower than what's needed.
Around them it was black except for each other, who showed as if a strange light were emanating from them, and the laws of physics, were plaintively different, gravity was no-where to be felt, and the feeling of movement was different, like everything else was moving except them.
When they arrived, the lighting would be so different it'd hurt most who weren't prepared. They were on the edge of the island in less than a second, faster even, and the Tower shown... Towering over them. Rena, having stopped at the beach, backed away from Serenity, to allow her space, as first time-teleporter's seemed a lot of times to need that space, for up-chucking purposes, from the sudden changes in the laws of physics that they went through, though it didn't affect all like that, it might've just been Rena.
