Alexander was certain of several things. Or more of assumptions he was certain of. One, was that she was a liar. Two, that she wasn’t psychic (he has his rights to doubt.). Three, she was cute and stubborn. That wasn’t exactly an assumption, but certainly a certainty. He ground his jaws together in an irritable way, but smile. “Very well. I was going to take you to a nice restaurant. Chinese, perhaps. It’s your decision, however.” He bowed again, continuing to watch her. She may – or may not – change her mind. He wouldn’t mind spending a little more then he wanted on such a fine piece of work.
It’s what he does, after all. He ran a hand through his hair and pursed his lips. He wasn’t quite sure of what to say or do. He could just leave; it may be easier then standing in such awkward silence. Or perhaps stay and see if she could continue the conversation. It wasn’t until the slight flicker of glimmering wax from the cherry-red Ferrari that Alexander changed his mind. The trio he had recently locked up and thrown wayward into the distance sun had managed to escape. Or perhaps their barrels were untied by the dock workers who gathered the fish into few of the warehouses. He bit his lip.
“I’m not sure what to say here…” He began, watching them gather weapons, by the look of it. “But you need to come with me. Unless you want to become a ‘spirit,’ take my hand and you’ll be safe. You just need to trust me.” There was a hint of franticness in his voice. His eyes showed fear. His breaths told everything. He was terrified. Not only by those thugs and the Godfather, but what the results could be if the girl chose to say “No.”
“Please.” He held out a hand for her.

Serenity glanced over at the godfather and his cronies that were coming right for them. Sorina was swaking for Serenity to just bolt but the blond ignored her altogether as she thought up an interesting plan which she was hoping might work, "Does the Godfather know what Tonya Jones looks like?" the emerald eyed medium hissed to Alexander, his plan might work after all if he didn't.

Alexander was shocked. Why should she care if he knows what Ta-Tonya looks like? And how did she know about her? He never mentioned her nor did he care. Besides – it’s none of her business. He began to rethink it all. She was sitting and watching and listening in like the snoops girls are. He growled slightly at that before shaking his head. “Yes.” It was true. “He sent me pictures of her at the store. She worked at T&B’S Pawn Shop a few years back; the Godfather used to go there a lot. He said she stole something from him. I didn’t think she did anything wrong, but I was going to be paid. Anyway, to shorten this up: he knows everything about everything. He’ll know I’m lying. Besides, I dumped him in the sea. He has that to worry about now.”
He sounded slightly annoyed and all the same slightly irritated. He was still holding out his hand. In any second, he’d take her hand and charge for it. Not towards them, but towards the sea. He was a good swimmer. He just wasn’t sure about her. He shoved his hands back into his pockets and spoke softly. “Look – either run or fight. I doubt you could take them all on. So I suggest you run.”

Serenity ground her teeth together of course he knew what Tonya looked like, so there went the idea of pretending to be her. That could have made life easier if Alex could have said she was the girl and held her hostage they might have all gotten away without a fight.
The blond medium glanced back at them and noticed the guns , therein would be their advantage, "Sorina can you jam them for a minuet?" she asked quickly glancing at the dove next to her. She knew Sorina could jam any small caliber gun with ease after years of practice having to save the green eyed psychic's sorry behind, but those were anything but small caliber guns.
Sorina glanced at the guns and quickly said, "I'll try." it didn't promise anything and wasn't worth mentioning to Alexander. But she cast part of her mind into the future of this battle so she might have a chance of escaping alive if need be, or knowing if they were about to fire off a round of bullets. That always came in handy. "So what's the plan?" she asked taking a careful step backwards, she wanted as much distance between herself and the guns as possible. Getting shot was not on her list of things to do before she died.

Alexander wasn’t quite sure of the plan, with all brutal honesty. He bit his lower lip, taking quick glances around as he tried to calculate the most promising actions. Running would be simple, yet stupid. Bullets are faster then a human, and can easily run them down. Fighting would also be stupid, yet a better chance of getting out alive, if not wounded. Running seemed to be a logical thing for the blonde girl to do. After all, she looked to be too small to fight. With ease he could burn down the docks, though he figured it would end up bringing pain to her, if she was to make the wrong step. Already she chose to jump down from the crates and talk with him.
Why must all the girls he has conversations with end up getting into a mess? He grunted at the thought, before running his hand into hers and gripping tightly. “You need to trust me if you want to get out of here alive.” He shook her arm, yanking slightly, as he spoke firmly. “I want you to jump into the water and stay under the dock.” He ordered. The men had stopped running, now standing before them with loaded guns pointed at the ready.

((sorry i didn't reply before now *slaps hand* bad serenity)) Serenity glanced up at Alexander, did she trust him, answer: no. Did she think he was more reliable then the godfather, hell yeah. "Fine. SORINA!" she yelled at the bird who had just finished up with the last of the guns.
She had givin her orders to Sorina with a quick glance between them, don't trust either party but your on the redhead's side. it was simple and Sorina had guessed as much. Boys who flirted so openly were usually bad news. Serenity gave one short glance before turning on the spot and racing quickly through the crates as made her way to the end of the docks. She had an idea of what was going to happen and now would be a good time to get to the end of the dock.
