It was almost a stupid decision to meet the man on the docks. Slippery when wet; splintered when dry. The smell of rotting fishmeat and dead rats filled the air. The smell of Alexander's sweat made it no better. He had decided to jog from the apartment complex toward the southern half of the docks; almost making it five hours. Of course, he had stopped for breaks and the like, even taking a bus halfway to the docks. He held the muffin in his hand, toasting it slightly as he took bites, the blueberries falling from his lips and through the cracks. He kept himself positioned there, in the middle, his eyes wandering aimlessly, his hair waving carelessly in the cool, rank breeze. Oh God – he hated the docks. Just the stench made his wish he wasn’t eating.
His eyes had spotted the cherry-red Ferrari, his hopes slowly dying away. He wasn’t impressed with the way they moved; the way the trio dressed so dapper – it made him almost angry. He snorted slightly, wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve, dropping the muffin into the water as he began to move. He loomed over the men, his eyes running over them like a child deciding on a candy bar. His biceps tensed as he cross his arms, his flannel wrinkling as his shirt. He had managed to get the thing cleaned enough. However, the blasted thing was still a slight grey. He nodded to them, and they did the same. The middle one, who was short and rotund in the slightest of ways, pulled his sunglasses off his hooked nose and into the breast pocket, patting it down before stiffening himself up, sizing the boy.
“You have her, right? Ta-Tonya Jones?” He questioned, his dull, bloodshot eyes twinkling as the sun’s rays hit them in an elegant way. His head tilted, his thick brows arched, and his chubby fists clenched. The Godfather, as the criminal was called, sniffed slightly, rubbing his nose before nodding toward the other two men. Alexander remained quiet, though nodded. His mouth opened slightly, lips parting almost automatically. “Yes.”
The Godfather laughed happily, cracking his neck before looking around. The girl wasn’t there. “Where is she?” He asked, soon spreading his arms and fingers. “Well? You said you had her – where is she?”
Alexander sighed, shaking his head before saying, “No need for yelling, sir.” He smoothed back his hair. “She’s in my apartment.” He sniffed, eyeing the two burly looking men. They were ready to take on the boy. When the Godfather had not made any movements, he pointed towards the east, where the apartments loomed in the grizzly neighborhood. The Godfather wasn’t pleased; it seemed obvious. His fat face was long and angry; his black hair, sleeked and well groomed, was almost a mess standing out in the windy docks. He gripped his knuckles tightly before raising his voice.
“I told you to bring the girl, you little son a bitch!”
Alexander’s face grew red, almost like the fire in the horizon, the sun’s golden hue turning into a massive red orb. His fists began to burn, the fire slowly forming. Before the three could run, the dock was set ablaze – fire burned left; it blazed right; it crackled north. All around him fire blazed, smoke rolled, and the three were trapped with the teenage boy. “You want to say it again, Godfather?” He made his move, griping the collar of the short man’s shirt, pulling him towards him, face against face. Teeth ground in his mouth, nostrils flared. Alexander was almost terrifying. “Well?”
Then, there was silence. The water had made no sound as the men were thrown into the barrels, tied, and pushed out to sea.

Serenity sighed and jumped down from the crates that she had been sitting on. She and Sorina had agreed that she could let these thugs die as they would probably just seek revenge on Alexander later. He was the one to be worried about. "Well done, you just killed three men, and didn't break a sweat doing it." she clapped her delicate hands together slowly but they made loud cracking noises when they came together. It wasn't by magic but because she knew how to create a loud noise when she put her hands together. She did it well.
Serenity raised an eyebrow, "You know they will probably come back to haunt you right Mr. Stone?" she asked calmly. Her eyes gleaming with knowledge as the sun chose to reflect it's gaze through her emerald eyes.

Alexander hadn’t realized someone was watching. Nor did he realize it was a girl. He snorted when she appeared; clapping with what he assumed was sarcasm. He loomed, shoulder’s hunched, before her, his dull eyes still twinkling from the tiny embers that still flickered at his feet. He said nothing for what felt like a thousand seconds. She must have not been at the scene for a while – she thought he killed them. He’d never kill anybody. After all, he was just a petty, redheaded thief who made his rounds. Killing anybody would be a waste of his time. The fir slowly began to dwindle down until it nothing; sinking into the docks as if it had never been there.
Still… She knew his name somehow. He wasn’t sure if they had met – he knew almost every woman in Jump City, so he wasn’t entirely surprised. Nevertheless, he wasn’t happy to see her. He shook his head after a long moment, wiping his nose on his sleeve before finally speaking. “I didn’t kill them,” He corrected her with a slightly annoyed growl. “They’re alive as they’ve ever been. Only they won’t be my burden anymore.” He paused again, shoving his hands in his pockets before crinkling his nose for a brief moment. “How do you know my name, anyway?” He tilted his head with slight curiosity. “I don’t think we’ve met before.”

Serenity smiled in the irritating fashion that she usually let her lips mold to, "That's where your wrong, because sometime soon while their still alive in the barrels a shipping boat will come by here by the name of the S.S. Terana. It will plow right through them, they will die, and then come back as spirits." she ran her fingers through her hair as she finished her speech and lightly jumped down off the crates, "Men like them usually go after the people responsible for their death." she said calmly her eyes betraying none of the smugness she felt about the situation.
Sorina was smirking at the boy who Serenity was talking to, she didn't like him or his kind but Serenity didn't mind them as long as they didn't kill others. It was an odd situation for her and she didn't care what Serenity thought of them but she wished they would all die slowly and their spirits could go to hell for all she cared.

Alexander didn’t really give a care. For all he knew, spirits were tales told by parents to keep their children in line. He waved the thought away and let out a slight chuckle, closing his eyes before running a hand through his hair. He took a glance back at her, the slight curl on the corner of his lips visible and quite clear. He was either intrigued by her stupid wits, or he was simply in a good mood. If the thugs did die… Well, Alexander would have nothing to much worry about. Even if they would be earthbound, he wouldn’t be able to see them. His mind isn’t open to those thoughts. He cared more about the future and himself if nothing else.
“You still didn’t answer my question.” He remarked haughtily. “I’ll repeat it again, incase you didn’t hear me: How do you know my name?” He shoved his hands back into his pockets, the smile still plastered on his face. He chuckled once again, softer then last, and tilted his head slightly, arching a brow. “If I may ask; who might you be?”

Serenity's knowing smirk still in place she walked around Alexander and flicked her blond hair out of the way, "Well I heard you answer my question of course." she said knowing that this answer would probably make him kill her she explained her very obvious answer, "I'm psychic of course." she said with a grin. "And a medium." she said as she glanced at Sorina.
Sorina was very irritated with this persons reaction to hearing about the spirits that were not going to be two impressed with him in a few hours. "I don't like him." she informed the green eyed blond she was hovering next to.
Serenity heard her friends answer and nodded ever so slightly to show she agreed with her. This was not her usual kind of person.

Alexander chuckled. A psychic, eh? This girl was certainly not human. Well… Not exactly, at least. She seemed to be one of those smart-alecky girls’ who enjoy tormenting people who don’t know what goes on in their head; easily manipulative and the like. Much like him. He wasn’t entirely happy or excited, but nevertheless, he had to be a gentleman. He knows the future can change, even if a psychic disagrees. He placed a hand on his ribs, another in the air, and bowed low. “Excuse me for not being a gentleman, miss.” He began. Straightening himself up, pulling down the red flannel and rolling he sleeves tighter around his elbows, he crossed his arms over his chest.
“I would ask you what I’m thinking…” He continued. “But I’m sure it’s obvious.” He chuckled again, his lips parting slightly and his eyes now focused on the girl’s. Her eyes were lovely – emerald, from the looks of it. The loveliest green. His sister, Elizabeth, has those same types of eyes. His grin was replaced with a slight frown as the wind drew by, tussling his hair. Goosebumps ran up his arms and neck; his hair standing up on end. Something about the breeze didn’t quite seem right. Oh well.
A breeze is a breeze, after all.

Serenity refrained from rolling her eyes at Alexander, despite what he was obviously thinking she wasn't telepathic, she just saw the future and had a strong position in the spiritual world. But she wasn't about to rectify his mistake.
That was when she saw the S.S. Terana go by, "Opps sorry I'm guessing that time has chosen sooner." she said with a small smirk and pointed her small hand at the name of the ship so prominently written on the side of her hull.

Once again, he chuckled. “Impressive.” He stated. “But yet, oh so wrong. You’re timing is horrible. No offense, of course.” He brushed his hair back, shifting his shoulders to a taller, more prominent stature and looked down at the girl. Sure; the S.S. Terana had sailed by, yet there went the barrels, floating solemnly by the ship, carried away by the current. “Oh my. Looks like you’re wrong. Are you sure the Terana is supposed to hit the barrels?” He asked, slight sarcasm and a mocking tone in his voice. He was certainly enjoying this little rendezvous.
“I’m almost wanting to ask you a favor of joining me on dinner. It’ll be on me, of course.” Alexander spoke softly, the grin almost noticeable. He was a smooth-talker; and his lips seemed to go on auto-drive. The muscles moved with a fluid movement like he had said it before many times.

Serenity gave him an "Are you serious" look. She had no intention of going to dinner with this womanizer, "I'll have to say no, I'm meeting a friend of mine later." she lied smoothly. Well it wasn't all true the person she would be meeting later would become her friend eventually.
Sorina landed on Serenity's shoulder, "I really don't like him." she said in a low growl that Serenity was surprised that a dove's vocal cords could make.
