& the boredom came! [Open]

Sorina was glaring at her favorite blond at the moment, "I swear it's all her!" she said attempting to project her voice to Athena and Nessa, of course she wasn't great at it and probably only half got through she was bad at telling and Serenity couldn't tell the difference. Irritating blondie.

Serenity rolled her emerald eyes at her friend, "Oh a little of this and a little of that." she said with a smirk and ducked as Sorina dive bombed her, "Hey!" she said and swatted her through Athena this time, "Hey I think my aim's improving." she said with a smile.

Sorina grumbled under her breath, "Yeah so's your power."[/size]

Vanessa watched the scene unfold, positively beaming from joy. Even though sometimes the words could have seemed harsh, she knew it was in a playful context. Teenagers were teenagers after all. Even though the only parts of the conversation she could hear were Serenity's and Athena's, she could guess at what Sorina was trying to convey. She pulled her legs up so her feet rested on the cushion and her knees near her chest, wrapping her arms around them.

As Athena pulled off her boot, Nessa practically dove for it. "The ruby slipper!" she announced joyfully, making a Wizard of Oz reference to go with Shift's phrasing of the threat. She grinned as she danced backward, then paused. "Sorry if you completely didn't follow my train of thought on that one." Vanessa even giggled slightly as she tossed the boot gently on to another chair. She did yet another tiny victory dance before erupted into a little more laughter and brushed a dark chunk of hair from her face.

Serenity was about to say something but was quickly interrupted by Sorina, "And I am not the flying monkeys." she said and Serenity smirked at that, "Well then you'll have to be demoted to a lion then won't you." she said with a smirk playing at her lips and Sorina groaned. This was getting to be very punny.

Sorina quickly smirked as she came up with her next line, "Well that just goes to show you there's no place like home." she said referring to what was considered a normal conversation in the tower but would be laughed at just about anywhere else.[/size]

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

A highly amused shape shifter rolled her eyes at Serenity's last comment, having understood their references to the old, old movie - she had loved the movie as a kid, although less so when it turned out she could become the lion...well, lioness. A grin was on the usually serious teens' face, her peircings glinting slightly in the light of the living room and TV.

"Unless there are spooks - or brooms.", Athena added, smile turning into something of a grin, her longer incisors poking over the edge of her lip a bit as her smile grew slightly.

To fit the situation, Nessa softly hummed a tune from one of the songs. After a moment, she crinkled her nose and frowned. She even pouted slightly as she crossed her arms, as if something serious had crossed her mind and she was a little upset about it. "I think I'm probably a munchkin." She sighed and let her arms fall to her side, rushing over to the couch to search for wherever she had set the remote control. Every trace of the frown was gone by this point. "Woah! I wonder if we could find it on TV or something!"

She snatched up the electronic box, plopping down on the floor and leaning against the cushions as she quickly pulled up a menu. Her eyes practically cemented themselves to the screen as she scanned each word for similar ones to what she was searching for. "Darn... I don't think it is," she muttered after a moment, before laughing and setting the remote down. She glanced up, smiling sheepishly. "I just realized how excited I got over the idea of the Wizard of Oz being on television. We should have a movie night one day, if there's a night where all the villains are in jail or decide to take a spontaneous holiday. It would be fun! Like group bonding time or something!"

Vanessa didn't mention about how the male Titans would probably disapprove of any slightly chick-flick movie she would suggest in a time like that, after all, there was no fun in being negative.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

Athena raised an eyebrow at the idea of - of 'group bonding'. It sounded painful, possibly physically as well as mentally. But on the whole it didn't sound like a horrible idea; there were plenty of different movies laying around the Tower, not to mention the fact that there were several movie stores in Jump. "I...guess that might be fun.", she said, after some length.

"And it's not like anybody would get hurt or anything." Shift paused, her mind filling with images of her various teammates. "...Probably." The shape shifter looked at Serenity, eyes drifting from Vanessa. "What do you think, Serenity?"

Serenity thought for a moment before Sorina pecked her in the ear and she swatted her away again. "Friday looks like the best so far." she said with a smile, "Oh and I am getting the food." she said knowing that everyone had different tastes and that she could predict which ones would be missed. "Don't ask me on the movie." she said before anyone asked her, most of the girls (except herself and Athena and a few others) would probably go for a chick flick and all the boys would argue over what shoot em up movie or horror for that matter they wanted to watch.

All in all they would all have a lot of fun.[/size]
