"Think about it, if I help, What'll the poor leader do, when helped by the one person, she hates most." Rena said, watching the slow fight between the two. "I think I'll throw her whole world into spectrum, and maybe hurt her more than just a loss. I'm at a stand-still."

Serenity grabbed Rena's arm before she could port away and actually do that, "No don't do that Athena has to try to drag Ravenstar back or else we won't have her on our side. If you go up there your likely to draw out the parasite that is holding her conscious in the back of her mind. Trust me on this, I can see much farther and more accurately than you can." she said referring to both of their future sight.[/size]

You claim accuracy, and future-sight. You should've known I won't hop in so readily" Rena said, sitting down onto the ground, her arm, half-raised by Serenity. "I don't risk things if I have no chance of winning the way I want."

Unaware of the seer and the teleporters' conversation about her and the currently possesed Ravenstar outside of the large oval of blackness, Shift struggled to keep her lithe, thick and scaley form wrapped around the super-strong alieness. It was a good thing she was human-shaped, and thin at that, or else the Titan doubted she would have been able to stay on as long as she did. At a lull in the struggle, the shifter hissed and tried to get herself wrapped better - she was starting to come loose - before feeling the unexpected heat from Ravenstar's bolts.
Her scaley hide writhing, Shift found herself falling, which was an undescribably odd sensation in the black world that they seemed to be stuck in. Mid-air - or so the teenager assumed - she changed from snake to elephant, bellowing a challenge as her large feet struck a solid mass in the black shadow-world. If pressure and claws wouldn't work quick enough, then maybe brute strength would. Ravenstar had never been a Superman in power, and although she was stronger with Voltor'mak in control, an elephant was no easy thing to ignore even for the super-strong supers. [/size] |
