Everyone knew that if you went to the private party room 3C then there would be this teenager there with some excellent connections. After a series date rape cases, bouncers were given the responsibility to make sure drugs didn't get into the raves. It was Mathews responsibility therefore to make sure the partiers still had access to designer drugs, given he could make them easily once inside. Mathew counted his bills, happy to see he had already made $165 dollars. Business was booming. As he sat on a bench, his latest customer left, leaving him alone in the room. As the customer opened the door to go back outside, loud pulsing music filled the room once again. The room was still ringing with the music when someone opened the door again. "You know the password?" Matty asked without looking up. He quickly deconstructed the drugs to dust with a touch of his hand, just in case it was someone trying to bust him. Anybody who was a customer would know the password was Sasquatch the Hut.

Serenity let a smirk grace her lips and leaned slightly against the open doorway, "Well I could give it to you as I saw the last five people give it to you. I'm not going to bother." she said and waltzed into the private room. The party outside was heating up quickly as someone had managed to spike the beer fountain and everyone was drunk on top of everything.
She glanced at Matt with a small disapproving eyebrow raise but didn't say anything about what he was doing at the moment, "Well apart from the four boys who I had to punch in the face to make it over to this little room it's nice to see you again," she said honestly.

Mathew would have recognized that voice anywhere. He wasn't graced with her powers but somehow he had known that they would meet again. He didn't know it would be so soon, though. "Hey Serenity!" He said brightly as his face lit up happily. "...and Sorina, I guess" He kinda flinched at the idea of her beating up boys. The lighter the girls were, the more savage they could be. "Those poor souls..."

Serenity grinned at the thought of how efficiently she had dealt with the problem half way across the dance floor, "Actually Sorina doesn't like this place much and she makes it her job to avoid it like the plague." she said as she sat down next to Matt, "So how have you been?" she asked with a smile. She really did for some reason love Mathew's company. She couldn't say exactly why but she didn't need a reason. She hoped anyway.

"Well, not bad, I haven't had anyone try to kill me since I saw you last, so thats good." He chuckled, a grin on his face. Then he kind of drooped his head. "But I know... that you know that I've still been selling." At about that time, a customer came in, but Mathew held up three fingers, the signal for a bust. She promptly spun around and exited. "I suppose you know thats why I'm here." He sighed and stood up. "Well, anyways, it must be nice to be rid of that pesky bird every once in a while." His blue eyes sparkled in the light unintentionally when he looked at her, a smile playing on his face yet again. His look changed as he realized something weird "You don't strike me as the kind of girl who goes to raves. It's dangerous. Lots of creeps out there. Then again, you can just punch them in the face, right?" Matty considered the idea that she hadn't come for the rave but just to tell him off for selling.

Serenity chuckled, "No I'm not am I?" she asked rhetorically. "And I'm not here to bust you or I wouldn't be here personally." she said with a raised eyebrow. Although if she was going to put an end to Matt's buisness she probably would have done it personally and not behind his back. She thought slightly to high of him to do it her usual way.
Then she pulled a notebook out of her back pocket, it had a plain cover with delicate feathers hand drawn onto the front of it, "Would you believe I'm actually here doing psychology research?" she asked with a grin playing at her lips. She was driving her mother and favorite spirit nuts with her research on drunks. "I'm doing an experiment on teenage drinking to be precise." she said with a grin. Sorina was fed up with coming here and had boycotted the thought of coming again "Sorina decided not to come again... ever, after that time someone threw up through her." she said with a smile, for some reason she felt she could be herself with Matt, she didn't have to hide behind a mask like she usually did she could just be herself.

"Oh... well, you know... you are probably not going to beleive this, but Im not a drinker..." Mathew had had his fill of hangovers and vomit, he wasn't partial to alchohol. Nor did he smoke tobacco. He kind of surprised himself when he figured this out. Two things you would expecct of him. "But I should have known you would be doing homework... or is this independent research?

Serenity smiled as Matt hit the nail on the head, "Well your second one's correct." she said with a smile. "And no I would have guessed you drank actually, sorry." she said quickly afterwords. In her experience not many people liked to hear that they seamed like they might drink.

Mathew too, felt very comfortable around Serenity. Perhaps that was because she was the only one who could see the good in him, the only real friend he had in this cruel world. At least someone had faith in him. When she was around, he felt safe, as if the horrors of mankind couldn't touch him. "Well, I started drinking early on, and couldn't stomach the taste of alchohol. I know how to make it though. Anyways, I might still be able to answer any questions you might have; I have connections, you see. I deal with those sorts all the time." He didn't mind her assuming that about him; he didn't see anything wrong with drinking, he just wasn't partial to it.

Serenity smiled and glanced at the room outside for a moment before turning back to Mathew, "Nope I think I have everything I need from those idiots." she said with a grin, she had been doing research on how drinking and logic never went hand in hand and why. "Anyway what is alcohol made of, I never actually figured that out," she mentioned thoughtfully.
