"Great, that means they are going to at least spot me, and therefore chase me, if they are still in jump city months from now." Mathew said under his breathe. The men wore black suits and eye concealing black sunglasses. Everything about them said government agency. They pushed their way easily through the crowd. Matty dropped the limp guy as one of the feds spotted him. To slow their approach, Matty punched a random drunk guy and ducked so the retalliating punch would hit someone else.
He ducked back in the room. "I don't think we're getting out that way." He still remained calm, and had another plan thought out. "Right beyond this wall is outside"
He placed his hands on the wall in question, and made a door.
"After you" he said, holding the door open for her.

Serenity smiled and chucked the full bottle of beer at a group of drunks and it broke over one of their heads and the beer itself hit another drunk in the face, that brought them into the fray, "That's what I meant." she said with a smile and wiped her hands together to get the smell of the beer off of them.
As Matt made his own exit she smiled and laughed quietly at the bad joke he had made and resisted the urge to throw one right back at him. Thankfully she had enough control of herself not to make to much of a deal about the new door, "I would suggest going anywhere but your house now as that's where their set up... maybe my house for supplies and then we try to find a hiding spot?" she asked cocking her head slightly as she waited for him to meet up with her outside.[/size]

As soon as Mathew was outside, he changed the wall back to its ordinary state. "Sounds like a winning plan to me. Lead the way, I have no clue where you live."

Serenity nodded and grabbed his hand and pulled him through the alleyways in the more direct way towards her apartment that she shared with her mother. Her mother was actually busy at the moment so it would be free from distractions as she went through, also Sorina would be there so they could collect a watch bird. It would all work out, "They wouldn't have me listed under friends and family although family is a bust here anyway but my house will be clean unless you mentioned me to a buyer." she said thoughtfully and crossed the street with Matt in tow, "I'm the third one on the left, and it's unlocked." she said pointing to her place.[/size]

Mathew trusted Serenity completely, and knew her judgments were sound, so he was more than willing to stay at her place till the heat was down. He walked quickly and crouched, keeping an eye out though they were most likely in the clear. It seemed to take forever to get there but they were on the porch of serenity's house in a matter of minutes.
"No, I didn't want you to get dragged down with me. If people knew I was connected to you, they would try to get at me through you." Mathew had a hint of fear in his voice as he realized it would be his fault if she came to harm; he wasn't sure if he could forgive himself for that.

Serenity smiled back at Matt, "I know you won't." she said simply. It was all that needed to be said on the matter. She knew the reason that she was dragged into Mathew's future so strongly wasn't for fear or survival. Those visions would be difficult to deal with, it was by choice that she would eventually end up on Matty's friends and family list. "After a while they'll figure it out but for now my place is safe" she said with a smile leaving of the ending that she was thinking until my mom gets home.[/size]

Serenity glanced back at Matty and tried not to wince at his words, "Um... well I don't know who my dad is but my mom knows... she just can't do anything about it." her mom constantly had an eye on her daughter's future. Sometimes it happened to be very frustrating but others it was useful. Now not so useful, "We've actually been arguing since we left the building." she said with a blush and dragged him through the front door. "But she won't be back till tomorrow, so..." she trailed off and deadbolted the door behind them, "She's away till next week." she said with a sigh.
That was when Sorina decided to keep intruders out of the house, "Who the hell~" she began even before she was in the right room. She was using a very ghostly voice as well and most people would have been shocked to hear a voice come out of an empty house. It was one of Sorina's weakest skills as a ghost but she could speak to the living.
Serenity rolled her eyes at her friends attempt at a ghostly voice, "Sorina shut up." she said and continued to drag Matt into the kitchen, "So what do you want to eat?" she asked as she walked further into it.[/size]

"Oh, so sorina is here now, huh?" Mathew looked around, hoping to see the faint shadow of the ghost again with no luck. Perhaps it only happened when she was pO'd or something.
His feet seemed to move on their own; as Mathew wasn't paying attention, he had been dragged into the kitchen by his hand. "No, Im too worried to eat." He knew arguing was futile. She probably saw in the future that he was complaining of hunger.

Serenity rolled her eyes at him and pulled out some leftover Japanese food from lunch that day. "Here." she said as she put a take out box in front of him, "Eat." she said with a smirk as she took out two forks for herself and him, "Yeah Sorina's here. Oh that reminds me Sorina check the perimeter would you." she said with a glance to the spirit.
Sorina rolled her eyes, she wouldn't mind chaperoning the teenagers but Serenity wouldn't ask without a good reason, "Who am I watching out for?" she asked with a sigh and ruffled her feathers as she glanced at the food that she no longer had to eat.
Serenity smirked as she took out another takeout box, "Oh just the FBI." she said with a glare at Sorina that said "I really don't want to argue right now." and smirked as Sorina raced through the walls of the kitchen toward the things that she was afraid to ask, "I love my job." Serenity said with a smirk as she sat down.[/size]
