Rena reappeared behind Athena, with a sidelong glance behind her to view Athena. "But from where I am, I can see each one of your moves."

"I can see you're future" she said, with a smile, her fathomless eyes bored holes into the back of Athena's head, as she finished her move. And Rena disappeared again, to appear just behind Athena, pushing her back to Athena's.

Serenity narrowed her eyes at Rena she did not like lairs, "You can't see that far into the future Rena," she said a furious glint in her emerald eyes. "You can't even see your own future or you would have prevented what is to come." she said in her knowing way, of course she was lying about what was to come but Rena didn't have to know that. Yes so she's a hypricate so sue her.[/size]

Athena's determination wavered as Rena boasted; could she? Serenity could see reactions and future events - as far as Shift had been able to peice together explain to herself - but Rena...if she could see her actions before she did them, soon-to-be-recent actions, that would make any fight unlevel. Athena always went into a fight with a plan; that was the way the shape shifter worked. Winging it, being spontatious, just didn't suit the serious Titan.

And then Serenity cut in, belittling Rena's claims and giving Shift some more surrity in herself, although doubt still hung. How would Serenity know that - had she seen it, or been told, or just figured it out based on her own predictions? Thinking and worrying about such things made Shift off-balanced, so the green teenager nearly fell as Rena leaned against her, the two of them back to back.

Shift could smell the teleporter, and feel her longer hair on her own mostly bare, furry shoulders. Heat seeped through the two's thin shirts, so the shape shifter felt that as well - it seemed the only thing she couldn't feel was a pulse, although if Rena had been facing the other way Athena was almost certian she could have. Lurching forward as the ex-Titan applied weight slim weight, Athena shifted into a weasel and darted away, moving towards Serenity.

Rena smirked, letting her confidence grow to the others. Despite Serenity's help, Athena still lost ground with her. And she teleported, in front of Serenity, a little to the side.

"Athena, You've heard it, and I'd better warn you my friend...."

"A great threat is coming to Ter... Earth, you head over the communicator yourself, the girl on the intercom, is MUCH more dangerous to you than I could ever be."

"Oh, andd Serenity, Would you like to have some coffee later?" she asked innocentl with a bit of a flirty smile on her face. She was starting to grow fond of this fellow clairvoyant of time, though their different views of time were VERY different, as Rena's was a continuous oversight into the very near future, Serenity's had a deeper view into the farther future, and arguably more accurate.

Serenity sighed and gave Rena a disapproving look, she didn't approve of her tactics but that didn't matter to her much. She wasn't all bad. The blond glanced into the future and noticed a tallish white blond with black eyes, nice looking girl. "Well it looks like we'll be friends." she said with a grin to Rena. Of course she was lying she wouldn't be able to tell that until she actually met the girl because the girl had no inclination to what she was like but the little white lie every now and again never hurt anyone.

Sorina hit her head over and over against Serenity's head, "Why me why me?" she asked quietly. She was getting very irritated with the situation and not being able to be seen by anyone was seriously irritating her. "And please tell me you aren't going to go get coffee with her later." she begged.

Serenity sighed and checked her plans that afternoon and sighed, "Sorry Rena I'm going to have plans later. I would have loved to though." she said with a small shrug.[/size]

Ah... oh well" she said with a shrug, "can't blame me for trying" She said, and moved back away from the two.

"And if you two are no longer after the buttons, I'll take my leave" and walked, stopping at the door, to allow them to do something about her leaving just like that. After all, she HAD promised Athena freedom to get the buttons from her, and as she had promised Athena, in Rena's mind atleast, that had been a promise to the whole of Titans.

'Not so fast' would have been what Shift would have said, had she had the time - or the thought - to change into a human before darting across the room as fast as her tiny little weasel body would allow. (Which was fairly fast, given that it was such a small, naturally nervous and secretive animal that alot of her other animal forms would have liked to eat for lunch). But the teenager didn't say anything - she merely let out a short squeak - and then proceed to try and clamper up Rena's leg.

It was rather odd, given that she usually just used the 'leap and maul' tactic when fighting against the teleporter. Well, that and the angle - and the weasels' vision. To part of her brain it was as normal as the balance her tail provided, and to another part it almost threw her off of the whole attempt.

But her weaselly, brainy sides managed to merge a bit and instead she latched her claws onto the hem of the black haired teleporters' shirt, one small and clawed foot scrabbling against her (for once, much larger) foe's side.

Serenity jumped back in shock at the surprise attack on Athena's part. She hadn't expected her green friend to jump the teleporter so quickly. "Remind me not to ever get on her nerves." she said quietly to Sorina.

Sorina rolled her eyes at the emerald eyed medium, "Can we go back in time cause that's like five minuets ago." she cawed quietly.[/size]

Athena's little claws scrabbling up her back, instead of meeting soft human flesh, ran into something hard, bit stiff, and rough. A kevlar clay vest, that had previously been unrevealed from behind the shirt.

Rena, instead of doing what most would, smiled at the scrabbling creature, half looking- back. "Cute..." she said, reaching grab to grab the tail.

Knowing from experience - as both her freinds and enemies had the tendency to grab her tail whenever she shifted into something that had one - that it would hurt if Rena got ahold of said tail, Athena growled and bit at the teleporters' hand when it got too close. She hadn't, before that moment, known if a weasel could growl, or what it sounded like if they could. Now the green little mammal knew that it sounded like something between a mouse and cat, and not in a pleasant way, either.

Sharp and tiny teeth bared, Athena was grateful for her claws when the teleporter moved, because while the shirt was very easy for her to hold onto...well, the Kevlar wasn't, even for such out-dated clay stuff.
