Rena, was pushed to the her second knee, refusing to break her stance any further. And she did something odd.

She coughed, coughed hard, trying to make out words as she did so. "Oh" she said "Oh man, you need." And a large cough. "To get a breath mint or something" she said, with a smile, not willing to drop her taunts, as she dove to the side to get out from under the jungle cat.

Rena dove out from under the green jungle cat just in time - another second, and the Titan's claws were unsheathed, slicing through the air. They would have bit into the teleporters' shoulder if she had been pinned. As it was, her claws merely slid through the air, clicking slightly on the metallic floor. A snarl escaped the serious - and seriouslly annoyed - heroine as rena's taunts got under her skin. Er, fur.

So she swipped at the teleporter, claws still extended. With rena, Athena had the habit of doing things a bit less by-the-book and lawfully - she played hardball with the teleporter, because she knew the girl. They had history, the most recent of which was anything but good and light. So spilling blood, while usually a drastic measure for the heroine was merely something that might help her catch the dark eyed girl-child.

Rena, hopped back, taking slash marks on her arm, spilling blood onto the floor of the training room. The blood, was bright red, seemingly too bright to be under her pale skin.

"Gah!" she said, going to one knee, holding her arm. Not so much in pain, as too stop the bleeding, as she applied pressure to as much of it as she could.

Then she grabbed the red button, which had come loose from the slash, and teleported to a safer distance, back on top of the giant weight-lifter. "You're getting better, Shift" she said, closing her hand, when she opened it the mic in it was gone, with minimal movements from her right arm that had taken the hit.

Serenity backed up until she felt the cold wall behind her, her only advantage in a fight was the spirit in her arms. Serenity contrary to popular belief couldn't really fight. She was absolutely pathetic in a real battle accept to call the shots from the outside and direct whoever she was allied with.

Sorina rubbed her small head against Serenity's arm as she looked up into the emerald eyes of the medium. The emerald eyes in question were locked on the battle before her and were only half focused. Sorina let her eyes drift up further and saw what she expected, a maroon symbol on the blond's forehead. "Who's going to win?" she cooed quietly.

Serenity shook her head slightly, her blond hair swaying with the swing of her head, "I can't tell, their making decisions to quickly and sporadically for me to get a positive read." she muttered and winced as Athena's claws came down on Rena's shoulder, that was not going to be a fun clean up job later.[/size]

The green jaguar's tail tip twitched, her ears perking forward as Rena teleported onto the big mechanical weight lifters. She couldn't get up there; not as the big jungle cat that she currently was. Morphing into her human form, a grim look of determinaion crossed the teenagers' face as she smelled the coppery blood. The thought that she was proud she made the teleporter bleed was a bit depressing, but the titan looked past it.

"When will you give up, Rena? Because I can keep going." Shift watched the teleporter, glancing over to Serenity as she muttered to thin air. 'Probably talking to Sorina or something.'

"You should know 'Thena, by now" she said hopping down lean on the equipment. "You can't take me anymore" applying psychology, to state that she had already won, and with her confident smile, it wasn't entirely sure if she was lying or not.

Rena disappeared, to appear directly in front of Athena, and released the pressure on her arm, though a little painful, and swung her left hand which was covered in blood from her forearm, to try fling the blood into Athena's eyes to blind her, if just temporary.

Jerking away from the teleporter a second too late from what she had thought was going to be a physical attack - maybe a punch, maybe something else - Shift nearly tripped over her own feet as Rena's blood splattered her face, droplets landing here and there. As the shape shifters' luck would have it, said scarlett liquid was mostly around her nose and eyes, which wreaked havoc on her animal senses.

Snarling and whiping at her eyes, Shift managed to not fall on her rump - mostly because she half-fell against the wall - and get her eyes open. "Really? You're sure?", sneered the shape shifter, her words half-growled. "Because you're the only one bleeding here."

Yes, but you're the one out-matched" She said, still claiming that she had already won, to get it under Athena's skin using the psychology still. She appeared right in front of Athena, looking down at her, ready to disappear behind her at a movement to hit or grab her again, having learned her lesson of letting Athena grab her.

Serenity glanced irritably at Rena, she knew the exact trick that she was trying to pull. The blond was a major in physiology she knew all about it. "Athena it's a physiology trick," she called from the sidelines. "Don't listen to her." she said and rolled her eyes at Rena, she preferred it when people actually played by the rules instead of making them up as they went.[/size]

Expecting some sort of manuever, Athena shifted from animal to human - reversing Rena's height trick, as she bested the long-haired villianess by a head or more.

"I have fought her before, you know.", Shift called to Serenity, the knowledge in that bolstering her confidence. She had fought Rena before - numerous times in the year or so that the teleporter had come back to Earth. She hadn't won, really, but neither had the shape shifter flat-out lost, either. Mostly their fights had been ties, usually because some outside force had seen fit to intervine.

'Of course, if we had continued the very first fight we had when she showed up again, neither of us might be here.', reflected the Titan as her eyes flashed from Serenity back to Rena. Having shifted and grown upwards, shrinking in length, the Titan had half a foot between herself and her foe; enough to swing and hit, if she didn't teleport away first, or just dodge it plainly. So the peirced teenager did so, her left hook swinging out fast and hard towards the pupil-less girls face, snarking a reply to her target.
"Not from where I'm standing."
