Rena retracted her hand, just before she had seen the sharp-teeth chomping down on her hand. And teleported, leaving the chunks of Kevlar and shirt that she had been wearing in Athena's little paws.

She was back next to the lifting weight, leaning on it casually, and could be heard thinking aloud, "I wonder if they got the new shipment in..." she asked to the air, thinking about a game she had pre-ordered, which, though she didn't know, was not in yet.

Serenity glanced at where the buttons that Rena had concealed were, "Ok Look Rena I could try to fight you for the controls and we could both be predicting each other's moves until you win and Sorina here hunts you down for all eternity." she said pointing at the dove in her arms with her chin, "She was always one who was bent sent on revenge." she said with an eye roll. "Or we could agree that you'll keep the buttons and probably give me more work as the local medium then I really want." she said with a sigh and stroked the dove. "Which to you prefer?" she asked with a sigh.[/size]

"Or... y'know, Option 3 and all that, me and you could fight, with a little help from Athena, I win, I leave you both alive, and I go somewhere, lick my eminent wounds, and wait for the next time you come after the buttons." Rena said, taking her uninjured arm, and ripped off her damaged shirt and started binding up her torn-up arm.

Serenity glanced down at Sorina for a second and then pointedly asked, "Did I say anything about Athena in the fight, I was just wondering for a second there. I was sure I didn't." she said talking directly to the dove. Her emerald eyes shone with enjoyment but they usually did when the sarcasm reared it's lovely head.

Sorina rolled her eyes so that Serenity couldn't see and gave her a pointed look. That was all Serenity needed to continue on her talk. "Yup that's exactly what I thought too, thanks buddy." she said sarcasm lacing her voice.[/size]

Rena tightened a knot at the end, and proceeded to start ripping the sleeve off her torn arm, deeming it un-neccesary to keep covered the non-damaged part, and started to tighten over the last bit of her arm.

"You should know, the person on the communicator, has access to things within the Tech level of 4" she said, making the low number of 4 seem so menacing, which it was, for those who knew of aliens, and their technologies, earth, at the most, was merely at Tech Level 2, still within the nuclear age, which at the most powerful, added up to maybe upper 2.

You should note that too Athena" she said, looking over towards where Athena was.

The peice of rena's clothing she had left behind fell to the floor at the shape shifter dropped it carelessly, disgust and anger flitting across her face before rena and Serenity started talking again. When rena mentioned the technology levels - which the Titan leader knew of vaguely, in that there were levels, but little else - she raised an eyebrow as her eyes caught Serenitys'. Maybe she would know about them - or, if not, maybe someone else in the Teen Titans would; someone who didn't blow up toasters when making toast, for example.

"Note taken.", she told her long-haired foe dryly. 'Not that it means anything to me.', she added as an aftethought, thinking to herself. the shape shifter stood up a little straighter, trying to shake the feeling of nevousness that clung to her since the weasel shifting. "Now leave, Blacklist."

Serenity glanced at Athena and Rena for a moment, "That was deflection of the question on Rena's part and a cut off by 'Thena," she muttered to the Dove in the room. She actually did read her books... or planned on reading them in the future and attained the knowledge that way. Of course she knew perfectly well that she was deflecting the conversation away from her as well but it worked for her.[/size]

So wait, hold on, let me get this straight, my friends." Rena said standing back up, stretch her arm, testing how far she could bend it without getting hurt at all. The answer was, not very far, as she wince and held her arm still, before bringing it back down to a restful position. "I try and leave, and you attack me. And now you tell me to get out, are you going to attack me again?" she asked eyeing Athena especially on this, as she didn't expect Serenity to attack right away, as Serenity wasn't as hot-headed as Athena.

Athena eyed Rena right back, then rolled her eyes. She had just realized why Rena was eyeing her like that - like she was gong to attack. because, unless the teleporter had said something, she actually might have attacked when the others' back was turned. An underhanded thing, but it wasn't as if her rival didn't have the kevlar to protect her fro,m most of the damage. Now, however, such an action was unthinkable - she was a hero, after all, and had some standards.

"We won't attack you. Just leave.", the heroine stated, her light green eyes glancing from her teammates to Rena, where they stayed and probed. They weren't going to attack, not right then, but that didn't mean anything about later - if she came back, or if they saw her out in the city. or if they caught her near those bombs she had allegedly planted.

"Fine, Jerk" Rena said, pouting a little, with her lower lip stuck out. It was a fake, but she was still hoping for something different.

"Well, Shift I guess, assuming you won't want me calling your first name, y'know, it'll be more formal from now on, I'll take my leave. Serenity, I will get you to get a coffee with me some time" she said, smiling, and faded out, off into her mess of a hideout, to plan for her next move.... Or see what was on tv.
