Serenity grabbed the communicator in mid-air, she had almost missed it and stopped herself from falling flat on her face by pushing herself up with her other hand, "Nice one Sorina." she said with a grin at the puncture mark that went through the communicator. "Your getting better." she said with a small grin at the thought of Sorina but suddenly a maroon mark appeared on her forehead and she spun around with a speed that one would not associate with the blond, "Oh shit... Sorina!" she called out to the dove who's wing had been hit by Rena's heel.

Sorina glided slowly toward Serenity and landed in her outstretched hand, "Oh my god I'm sorry," Serenity murmured as she cradled the dove to her chest.[/size]

Rena backed quickly from serenity. "That'll explain it" she said, quickly getting out of arm's reach. The communicator, was dead, the files she had seen, commited to memory, for the most part, she now knew most of the Titan's Powers. Which was a very good thing for her. "A Spirit." she said.

The communicator... was a set-back, but it wasn't the reason she had come here, she had promised Athena fair chances at reaching the buttons before the 2 weeks were up, that was the reason she was here.

"The communicator is gone, Oh well" she said unperturbed. "I still found out a fun little fact about a tammeranean girl, maybe I should do the same as to your last one" she said to Athena, talking, of those who know, of Shift's old crush on Rena's late sister.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

Shift, who had been relieved at the return of the communicator - broken or not - paled quickly when Rena brought up the main reason for the two's split those few years ago. The death - murder - of Rena's younger sister, Fyrelle, also a Titan...And Shift's long-time crush. Then rage mixed with the grief that had first suffused the green teenagers' face, and Athena visibly shook from the two forceful emotions. It wasn't that she was frightened by the threat that kept her in place - it was that she wasn't sure if she should attack Rena with her teammates so close, as they might get hurt.

"Harm a hair on Ravenstar's head - or any of my teammates' - and I swear you won't live long enough to regret it.", snarled the shape shifter, her usual serious face cloudy and promising violence if Rena decided to play with her heart again. The last time, seeing Fyrelle's head, like some sort of twisted trophy, had nearly sent the shape shifter over the edge. She's recovered, with some help from freinds and family...and a counsilor or two. Truthfully, the peirced heroine wasn't sure she could go through it again.

Ha!" Rena said finding enjoyment in what Athena had said, and she moved closer, with confidence, or with stupidness, either one, but either way, it didn't stop her from nearly touching Athena's face.

"I didn't even have to say the name of the team-mate you love" she said, loud enough for the room to hear, with a sly smile, having gotten Athena to admit it was Ravenstar, rather than Rena having to say it herself. It was much funner that way, she thought.

[Athena 'Shift' Logan]

"I - I - ", Athena stuttered, a blush spread across the shape shifters' face as Rena pointed out that she had just effectively outed herself to two members of her team. Granted, it was Serenity and Bane - she doubted Bane would care, and Serenity already knew, like she knew just about everything else - but still. The realization conflicted with her rage at the long-haired, mischievious teleporter before the shape shifter crushed her embarresment. 'I'll deal with it after I've dealt with her.', thought the green lass, scowling at Rena.

Since the girl was in such short range, the superheroine reached out and grabbed her arm - having learned by trail and error that bits of clothes would stay while she teleported away, as they had when Serenity had tried to grab her a few minutes ago. "You think you're clever, don't you?", hissed Shift, her previous embarresment now all but gone. "They won't care. You'll see."

Athena was bluffing, mostly; hoping and praying that her teammate really wouldn't care. She knew they would be mad about the files, and question and probably yell at her, but the green girl expected that. But leave because of it? No. ...Or so the Titans' leader wished.

"Clever, Athena, grabbing me, but all this means is that now it's harder for you to avoid me" She said, raining her own version of intimidation down, or trying to, as it is a bit hard to intimidate one who could transform into the king of Dinosaurs, The Tyrannosaurus Rex, at any time they felt like it.

"But you forget one thing, I'm quite clever myself" she said, opening her hand, a mic had been hidden away in her hand, or... was it?

That was soon answered as on the speakers of the training room sounded their conversation.

"Ha! I didn't even have to say the name of the team-mate you love" -Rena

was what sounded through the speakers.

Serenity's eyes opened wide as Rena brought the mike out, "You didn't see that coming did you?" Sorina asked as she heard the sound of Athena's speech repeated. The doves wing was held awkwardly but she was not in as much pain as she had been in.

Serenity shook her head slightly in indication, "No." she said her emerald eyes wide, "I didn't." she murmured. The sixteen year old did not like surprises.[/size]

Shift felt her eyes go wide, her pointed, multi-peirced ears twitching slightly as the speakers throughout the Tower carried the recorded message into every room, and the top of the Tower, were quieter speakers had been placed. Then a frowl wobbled, strayed, then came to stay on the Titan's stormy face. She'd been tricked, duped, got the wool pulled over her eyes right under her nose - and she wasn't happy about that fact, either.

"You're going to pay for that.", Shift snapped, her grip on the long, dark haired villianess growing tighter, then weakening as it morphed into an equally large paw. If Rena had looked up, she would have seen a young adult jaguar glaring at her, dark green-black spots blotting along her lighter green fur.

Rena braced her leg, and twisted, so as not to be crushed by the large-cat in front of her, and collapsed to one knee from the weight of it.

Unbeknownst to Athena, or so Rena thought, Shift had turned on the communication side of the mic on her hand, And when she heard a beep, Rena asked"So," a grunt to push up a little to a more comfortable position, "whatchoo thinkin'?" she asked into the air, seemingly to Shift, and a voice replied, surprisingly from the mic's receiver. It was a girl's voice.

"I'm thinking I"m going to come to your Planet" The girl's voice said, before it came off audibly, the click and SHHHH of the static, before Rena turned off the receiver.

Athena's ears - now atop her head, and rather more furry than usual, considering her current form - swiveled backwards as a girls' voice emmenated from the mic. She hadn't realized she had done anything to it - the Titan guessed Rena had switched it from blaring through the loudspeakers to...some sort of walkie-talkie. Whatever kind of walkie-talkie that could transist planets, that is, unless the person on the other line was playing with everyones' heads.

Before devoting alot of thought to the voice on the mike, Shift decided to first take care of the lonhg-haired villianess before her, who was at about the same height as herself right then, being a jaguar and all. Shift leaned forard and pressed a paw to one of Rena's shoulders, putting some of her now larger weight on it. (Not enough to break anything - just pressure enough to force it to the ground.)
