Carrie let her newly manicured fingers thumb through her now blue streak of hair. She didn't like to watch the world unfold before her usually. Not unless she had set all the pieces into movement. Which is what she had done today.
She loved messing with the cop's heads just because she could do it so easily. She just needed a five year old cell phone to send them on a wild goose chase. Preferably one that didn't belong to her. That way she wasn't the one blamed for whatever prank she had decided to pull. This time she had sent an embedded virus through a text message that had the cops chasing everyone around trying to figure out why exactly all the computer screens that were necessary for city hall to function were popping up with a screen that said "Insert cool catch phrase here."
Dan had already called her and given her hell about it as he had been called in to see what the problem was as the resident expert on anything with a power button, really he saw no harm in it as all it did was bug the hell out of the city council as it kept saying insert cool catch phrase please. It didn't interfere with the workings of the city just bugged the hell out of them. Dan thought she was brilliant and she had rolled her eyes and just said "No duh." but now here she was sitting across the street watching the show she had started.
She loved being a teenager sometimes and now watching a bunch of old geezers chasing each other around trying to figure out who was driving them absolutely nuts was one of those times. Teenagerdom was fun. "Hey check this out." she said as she sat down on a bench next to some person who would think she was nuts. "Their about to really do something stupid now." she said with a grin. Vivian had been sitting on a bench and watched people walk by. She usually didn't come to populated areas like this because of the risk that she may kill someone, but she had fed before she came here and had enough control over her to resist. She sighed and stared at the ground, not sure what to do. She wasn't even sure why she had came here in the first place. Then a commotion was forming and she watched as some guys began to run around in some kind of panic. She wasn't sure what was going on, but it seemed amusing.
Suddenly, a girl sat down beside her and said "Hey check this out. Their about to really do something stupid now." Vivian stared at the girl with a confused look on her face, but ignored her. This day was just another one of those weird days.

Carrie smirked at the phone that she had built to send them on their hunting and then the police decided that they were going to make an announcement to the old geezers to get them out of the building, "Oh oh oh here they go." she said with a smile as the old politicians argued with them that they just had a virus problem and that it wasn't such a big deal.
That was when one of the younger guys threw his laptop out of the window and hit one of the police cars back window setting off an alarm, "Oh yeah that was so worth it." she said as she slid the makeshift phone out onto the street and smiled as a car ran over it. There goes the evidence of her involvement. [/center][/size] |

Vivian looked up at the girl and just stared at her for a minute then looked back at the commotion. She watched as people went on arguing and yelling at one another. It was quite amusing and when the computer came flying out the window Vivian wanted to just start laughing. But, she never really laughed at anything and tried to keep it to herself. Today was a weird day, but it was a good weird.

Carrie smiled at the other girl at least she hadn't lost her touch, "I wonder if a titan will show up to shut them up?" she asked with amusement, she loved her work and knew that it couldn't be traced back to her, "So what's your name I didn't catch it... I was laughing to hard." Carrie said with a smile and brushed her blue streaked hair out of her face. [/size][/center] |

Vivian looked back at the girl and gave her a little smile. She looked back to the yelling mass that seemed to be getting bigger every minute. Vivian was really enjoying this and it was unusual for her to enjoy something when it wasn't her causing the trouble. When the girl asked "So what's your name I didn't catch it... I was laughing to hard." Vivian became a bit uneasy. She never told anyone her name so she could keep a low profile, but for some reason se didn't really mind to tell this complete stranger. "It's Vivian. What's yours?" she asked.

Carrie smiled at the girl with the multi colored eyes, "Well I'm Carrie and that." she pointed at the mess in front of them, "Is what I call good entertainment." she said with a smile, "Forget the comedy channel" she joked with a laugh, "So what are you doing here anyway It can't have been to watch the show." she said with a smile. Usually she was much more sarcastic around people but driving a bunch of old guys batty was really putting her in a very good mood. [/size][/center] |

Vivian chuckled and said "Yeah I agree this is much better. Though I've never watched anything on the comedy channel." She mumbled the last part and hoped Carrie didn't hear her. Vivian leaned back against the bench and watched as another troop of police cars came down the street. She sighed and began to drum her fingers against the bench. Being so close to a human was starting to make her uneasy. The beating of Carries heart reached Vivian's ears and she quickly tried to take her mind off of it. She clenched her jaw tightly and wished she had something small to snack on.

Carrie smiled at Vivian she obviously didn't get out much, either that or was just kinda shy and weird. "Oh hey want a piece of gum?" she asked pulling out a pack of gum that she loved to make bubbles out of. It was one of the easiest ways to piss people off, snapping gum. Vivian just stared at the ground trying to keep her mind off of feeding. This didn't make any sense to her though, she had just eaten. She looked at the electronic clock across the street. She'd been here for two and a half hours. It didn't seem like it had been that long and she hadn't really had that big of a meal. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and drummed her fingers even faster. She looked up at Carrie and hesitantly took the gum. Maybe that would help keep her mind off of blood.
