It was a Disaster.
That was all one could say.
5 dead
Countless Injured
And not to mention the property damage, thousands, possibly hundreds, including the merchandise.
A crater in the middle of the appliance section. A hole above the ceiling, and last, but CERTAINLY not least, a pod in the middle at the bottom of the career, steaming, boiling the water in the air from the heat it was giving off. The metal was still red, and it looked like it had just landed, even though it's been there for 4 hours.
The police had the section taped off, and the wal-mart was closed.
It was a supposed first-contact, to the natural human race.
And it wasn't a good one so far.
Suddenly.
Something popped out of the top of the pod, and started spraying coolant everywhere, cooling off the pod with a satisfying 'HHIIIIISSSSSsssssssss' .
THis caused panic, is that blue stuff from the top a deathly virus, or something worst, or nothing at all.
The pod opened.
All was silent as the pressure seal released a 'SSSSHHHHHaaaaaaaaa' and a figure stepped out.
This figure wasn't very tall, and wore a silver suit made from strange shiny material. And a helmet, resembling a biker's helmet, but made of another material, similar to metal, but oh so obviously not. The helmet's lenses were darkly tinted, not letting a spot of light through.

Serenity walked around the Police who was attempting to pull her back from the site but the glare she gave him finally had him backing off. As did the maroon mark on her forehead and the Titan communicator at her waist. She didn't carry it often but she actually did have one, despite popular belief...
The police were at a loss to say why there was what looked like a young teenager blond at a crash sight of some sort of alien pod, "Hey Lunder!" she said with a smile and a small wave. Only Serenity could pull off the stupid waving look and not look like a total dork. Sorina had no idea how she did it but she always somehow managed to look scarier when she did do it.
The head police man walked over to her, "You know this... uh... whatever it is?" he asked with an eyebrow raised, why teenagers practically ran the city's law enforcement he had no idea but it was starting to get irritating.
Serenity rolled her eyes, "No not really but... yeah... well no..." she said thinking about it. "It's hard to explain." she said and Sorina rolled her eyes where she was helping the five dead spirits. The girl never ceased to amaze her.[/size]

"cambleh ni Lundar quo?" she asked in the strange tongue of the Redthian race, which was mostly dedicated to research, but had an active military. On the east side of the galaxy they are primarily accepted.
East, of course, being a general term meant for navigation. Those who knew anything about the galaxy, have atleast heard of the Redthian.
The figure clad in the strange clothes stepped forward towards Serenity, and despite the... non... relatively... unthreatening... ok they had good reason to have a gunner trained on the figure.
"quo?" it asked, presenting the end of her question from earlier.

Serenity sighed this was not going to be easy, "Um..." she pointed at herself, "Serenity." she said and turned to the dead dove, "Do you know anyone who's from the uh... Redthian's home planet?" she asked knowing she had no idea what the other girl was saying and was going to try to learn the language but... yeah.
Sorina raised an eyebrow and was about to answer the question when the police officer tapped her on the shoulder, "You know we're over here." he said and she turned to glare at him.
Her eyes narrowed with dislike, "Yes I know but I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to a spirit. So excuse me for being annoyed that your interrupting our conversation." she said with a roll of her eyes and sighed and turned back to Lundar. "You don't speak English do you?" she said with a sigh.[/size]

Se...reni...ty" she sounded out pointing to Serenity. "Lundar" she said, pointing to herself, and then, after a short pause, she said, dropping the act.
"'Course me do" she said, despite her horrible accent, and clumsiness of speech, it was comprehensible.
She moved closer to Serenity now and held her hands out, palms open, trying to be as least threatening as she could.

Serenity sighed in relief, "Well thank god for that. I was about to go and call your home planet, sorry or rather the planet you called home." she said with a sigh. "Well welcome to earth. Now officers if you'll excuse us." she said pushing past them again with one hand in Lunder's and was heading for the clothes isle.
The officer was about to open his mouth to call the young blond out on ordering around a police officer when she held out her communicator, "Ok lieutenant let's get this strait, not only am I an honorary Titan I'm also in collage so let's cut the crap about why a little girl is taking your job away from you." she said and clipped it back to her belt and dragged Lunder toward the clothes. She had left out mention that she only was sixteen. Conveniently of course.[/size]

Not sure on what serenity meant by grabbing her hand, she was , atleast to her, abruptly yanked forward, and in this she activated her phasing powers and her fully clothed hand passed through Serenity's hand. "Me has, home... not?" she half-asked wondering if she worded it right.

Serenity didn't bother to ask for a translation for what the new girl had said because she knew what she had meant, "Yes your home but right now you need some clothes so you fit in better." she said and after a second thought, "And an English book."[/size]

Terra... is NOT home, to me" she said defiantly, but followed Serenity none the less, towards the clothes section. She had been disbanded from the Redthian army, she might as well wait it off on earth.

Serenity glanced at the girl and thought about her size for a moment and guessed what size she was, then looked into the future to see if she was right. "Ok try this on." she said and tossed her a shirt and went over to the pants quickly.[/size]
