Vivian glared at Serenity and wanted to slap some sense into her. She didn't care if Serenity could see the future, it was always changing nothing was exact. "God Dammit! You're just don't listen do you!" Vivian shout and winced in pain as the actual flames began to lick her sides. Vivian knew that they'll be dead in minutes and she wasn't going to allow that.
She gathered all of her strength and, with a yell, she was able to push the wood off her back. She roughly grabbed Serenity's arm and dragged her through the burning wreckage. Vivian looked around desperately for a wall that was stable enough to break through, but she found nothing. She then turned to her last option........the windows. Vivian really didn't want to go out the window, who knows how or where they were going to land. But they had to either jump or die.
Vivian grabbed Serenity and actually picked her and the kid up. "Thank God she wasn't too heavy." thought Vivian and she charged at the window with her shoulder. The glass shattered everywhere and a few pieces stabbed into her arm, but she paid no attention to it. Vivian quickly positioned herself to land on her feet and thankfully they didn't land on anything too hard. Vivian slowly placed Serenity and the boy down. The mother was instantly there holding her son crying. Vivian softly smiled at the two of them. She started to sway a bit before she dropped down to her knees from exhaustion and pain. The burn on her back and the cuts in her arm were finally releasing their excruciating pain.

A large bush of soft leafy material sprouted up the moment before impact. The soft plant material crunched under Vivians feet but slowed her fall. By the time the stupidly heroic pair came out, ambulances and firetrucks had arrived. Irazehl was back in his normal robes and was treating burn victims, taking a break to save what he thought was Serenity from hitting the hard earth.
Irazehl sighed heavily when he saw Vivian. He was clearly conflicted. He opened his mouth as if to say something but clearly thought better of it as he shut it.

Serenity winced from the phantom pain that she had brought upon herself during her attempt to find a safe escape route. Of course as soon as Vivian had made the decision to get the three of them out of the collapsing apartment complex she had seen it happen. "Sorina the bear." she said over her shoulder as Vivian dragged her around the place with her greater strength.
That was when she remembered how much she really hated flying, or anything that involved great heights and the deaths that it could incur.
She really hated the fall and the landing wasn't great with the pain racking her body. "Let's not do that again." she said as she felt something soft brush her shoulder and turned her emerald eyes up to see a white dove carrying a stuffed animal. "Thanks," she said with a smile and brought it over to the boy and his mother. "You forgot mister Cuddles." she said with a smile as the boy's face brightened.
Sorina nestled up against Serenity's neck as she thought about what had happened, "So Reni," she began and ignored the eye roll the blonde shot her way, "Did you seriously piss the vamp off enough to create a new divergence?"
Serenity rolled her eyes at the feathered irritation on her shoulder and attempted to walk to where green was standing without limping to much. She succeed in the walking but was frustrated to find that the limp wouldn't quite go away. "I mean I know you can be annoying with your all knowing talk but come on." Sorina continued and Serenity finally just swatted her away from her ear, "Sorina shut up." she said and glanced at the other two for help.[/size]

Vivian took a steady breath and tried to ignore the pain. She looked at her arm, that was slightly cut up from the glass, and quickly took off her hoodie. She sighed as she studied the damage to her hoodie. "And this was my favorite." she complained then ripped off a piece of it and tied it around her arm. She winced in pain as she tightened her temporary bandage and slowly got up.
The burn on her back screamed with pain as she stood and she lost her balance for a moment, but quickly regained it. She looked up at Serenity and Green and slowly nodded her head at them. She turned away from them and slowly limped away from everything. She had done her job and had no other reason to stay. But, as she left a sudden depression came over hear. She hadn't talked to anyone in years and, even though it wasn't the most pleasant conversation, it was nice to actually talk to someone. Vivian took a quick glance back and softly smiled.

As the fire died down so did the rain that had helped the firemen. Irazehl stood stiffly with his arms crossed. This violated alot of his understanding of Vivians world. After a few moments he loosened up, exhaling a breathe he had been keeping in. In a few moments, he ran and caught up with the girl, running in front of her and turning around.
"Here eat these herbs, they will make the pain go away." he held a hand out to her, in it a ground green and red herb. His eyes looked away down and to the right, and he summoned a white rose into her hand as he placed the herbs in it.Tradition.

Serenity glanced at the other two who were quite a ways ahead of her, "You know I'm starting to like her." Serenity said with a thoughtful look at Vivian, her journey was an interesting one, but the amount of divergence points was to massive for her to track, as most of them had to do with who she was by blood. "Really starting to like her." shesaid and winced as she had tried to shift her weight to the leg that she had felt break.
Sorina ruffled her feathers and glanced back at the other two, "Why is it you always seem to like the psychopaths?" she asked with resignation lacing her voice. This was becoming the baseline of her life. Crazy and insane, and usually dead as well.
Serenity smirked at the entrance to that particular jibe she had been given, "Well they make for a passing grade in class." she said and Sorina groaned not having thought of that comeback. Sometimes the dove loved the psychology major but at other times she wished she could beat some sense into her. "See." she said pointing to the white rose Irazehl had given to Vivian. Odd that he would give Vivian the symbol of purity and innocence after being on guard for a while around her.
Sorina glanced up at the other two, "Huh, purity and innocence huh?" she said amused with the situation.
Serenity let a smile creep across her features and humor dance in her eyes, "Yup."[/size]

Vivian looked up at Green than down to the herbs and rose. She was a bit surprised by it considering they didn't really have that great of a first impression. But, Vivian weakly smiled and said "Thanks Plant Boy" then slowly continued her limp to where ever. She was actually happy she had met these two and, though she didn't want to admit it, she didn't really want to leave. But, she had no business to stay and who would want a vampire/werewolf hybrid around anyways?

Irazehl chuckled uncomfortably. "Your welcome, hairball" he didn't turn around to speak with her but rather stood in place as she walked around him. His face was blank, he didn't know what to think. He saw he was wrong and was eating the fact hardcore.

Vivian looked back at Green and smirked then continued on her way. Her back and arm was throbbing with pain and she wasn't getting anywhere fast. She sighed and decided to just sit there on the curb and wait for the pain to subside a bit before continuing on. She looked at the herbs in her hand and gave them a quick sniff. They didn't smell all that great and she wasn't use to eating solid foods, except for the occasional carcass of some road kill. She quickly stuffed the herbs in her mouth and began to chew them.
The herbs held a nasty taste for her and she nearly gagged. She quickly swallowed then and a shiver went down her spine. She never really did like human food there was always something wrong about it. She sighed again for the billionth time and reached her good arm back trying to figure out how bad the burn was. Her fingers were freezing against the still warm burn and it stung as her finger tips slowly and carefully glided over it. It didn't seem like that big of a burn and she hoped that it was going to scar her back.

Serenity limped over to Green and was slowly making process with the phantom pain, "Sorina wanted to know why the white rose." she said as she watched Vivian take the herbs. Really those were going to taste bad no matter what, as a medium Serenity had had her fair share of bad herbs, but Vivian also want human on top of that. That had to suck.[/size]
