Vivian stared at the puddle at her feet and watched it it slowly grew from the rain that fell onto the pavement. A flash of lightning shot through the sky, followed by the blasting roar of thunder. People rushed around her trying to seek cover from the pouring rain. Soon everyone was inside and the street was quiet, except for the occasional car that zoomed by.
Vivian stood alone in the rain, her clothes soaking up the rain like a sponge. But, she seemed oblivious to it all. Her face was blank and emotionless and her eyes were distant and seemed hold no life. Another flash of lightning lit up the sky and Vivian slowly lifted her head up to the sky. The rain fell onto her face and it seemed to soothe her. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.
She sighed and slowly dragged her feet over the wet pavement and turned into a dark alleyway. Her eyes slowly scanned the ground, looking for something to feed on. When nothing appeared she slowly began to exit the alleyway. Then something rustled behind one of the dumpsters. Vivian quickly, but quietly approached the dumpster and peeked behind it.
At first nothing seemed to be there and she decided that it was just a rat or something like that. Then the reflective eyes of a cat looked up to Vivian. They both stayed motionless when the cat suddenly sprinted forward. But, Vivian was faster. She quickly grabbed the cat by the scruff of the neck and watched as the cat tried to release its self from her grip.
Vivian simply smiled then grabbed the cat by the neck and quickly twisted its neck, snapping it in two. The cat went limp in her hands and Vivian slowly stroked it's wet, matted fur. Her smile slowly grew and she slowly opened her mouth allowing her fangs to grow to there full length, then bit into the cat's neck.
The sweet, warm blood spilled into her mouth and it brought a small tinge of joy to her. She pulled her mouth away from the cat as she licked the blood from her lips. Her fangs had shorten a bit, signaling that her hunger had been quenched, but she wanted more. She brought the cat back to her mouth and sucked the last remains of blood.
When the cat was dried of blood Vivian threw it into the dumpster. She casually wiped the blood off of her chin and licked it off her finger. She smiled, content with her meal, and looked back to the sky and watched as the rain fell from the heavens.

Serenity glanced over to the powered girl at the other end of the ally, she was actually surprised that with her abilities that she hadn't been spotted yet. She would have thought that she would have noticed her before that and as patience was a virtue that she didn't posses she was now leaning against the wall and glancing down at the tan sweatpants she was wearing with the name of the collage she attended's name on them in green.
The school spirit had been her mothers idea and Sorina had supported it wholeheartedly. Really she didn't care about the school spirit part so much but winter was quickly approaching and they didn't clash with her style and were warm. They actually matched the emerald green sweatshirt she was wearing which had mildly amused her after an hour of wearing the outfit.
The spirit dove on her arm glanced up at Serenity's angular features and sighed, "So how long until she notices you?" she asked leaving herself out of the question as she could guess that this other girl wasn't a medium as the ghost of the small child who's old pet she had just killed was crying and the girl hadn't made a sound to point out that she had seen her.
Serenity shrugged and rolled her eyes and flicked her hand in the direction of the little girl and Sorina nodded at the silent command and flew off to comfort the small child. She was acting exactly like she expected her to as her strongest tie to the living world had just been killed by a hungry teenager. She hadn't quite gotten there in time to stop Vivian from snapping the feline's neck but she had been here long enough to wish the lupine girl was a faster eater. "You know that's not a good way to treat the dead." the blond future seer said and pushed off of the ally wall with an unnatural grace that only she possessed.

Vivian had noticed the girl only after she had finished off the cat, but didn't bother to look at her. When the girl jumped down Vivian chuckled and turned around to face her. "And why would you care?" Vivian asked in an amusing tone. She was in a good mood at the moment and, while she could kill this girl in less than a minuet, she decided to mess with her instead. She casually began to walk towards her then used her inhuman speed and became a blur then appeared behind the girl. She chuckled and asked "And who are you to question a vampire how to treat the dead?" This was going to be entertaining, Vivian could tell, but she still wasn't sure what to do with the girl. She casually walked back in front of the girl and studied her. The girl didn't seem to be any threat to Vivian. Vivian stopped directly in front of the girl and just stood there waiting to see what this mer human would do.

Irazehl had been on patrol when the rain came. The small drops hitting here and there were a subtle warning to the downpour to come. The air was now thick with the rain, and people had sought shelter, but he had no intention of doing the same. He stood perched from the rooftop unnmoving, like a statue. One might think he didn't realize the rain had come. Green did not fear the rain. No, it comforted him. The cold embrace reminded him of someone from his past life; she had control over elements, but water was her specialty. As his green ninja robes became soaked, they turned to a darker shade. He looked up to the heavens, with his arms held out, as if calling to a god he knew wasn't there. In a flash of lightning he disappeared. As the street lit up, he became aware of the two below, one of whom he beleived to be Serenity. He approached, already on the ground below, absolutley noislessly, out of sight. The only thing that may betray his position was, for those gifted enough to pick it up, the smell of a human.

Vivian was still staring at the girl when she picked up the smell of another human around. She made a quick glance in the human's direction then, in a quick blur, appeared right next to the boy. "Well look what we have here." she said in a taunting voice and quickly pulled the boy from his hiding spot. "You know it isn't polite to eavesdrop on other people's conversations." She looked at the boy with a smirk on her face and walked around him, studying him. Vivian was enjoy this, here she had two worthless humans that she could kill in less than a second. She mentally slapped herself for that thought. She had been trying to stop killing humans and went to killing animals instead and she was a bit ashamed of her recent thoughts of killing them. But, she kept her personal emotions to herself and kept her face calm and "playful".

Irazehl had been standing in the shadows when he first noticed the girl shifting position. He had been standingin the doorway of a tall brick building, concealed by its shadow. He was perfectly out of sight, and hadn't even made sound for breathing; it was impressive to him how the girl found his location, or rather, where he used to be. She clearly didn't expect a competent fight, she knew not what she was dealing with. The lighter green clothes he wore after getting rid of his outer robes were quicker but less concealing of his movements. He had to cover his face with a plant, as his clothe headcover got left behind with the decoy leaving part of his scent behind with it. The leaves of the plant covered his nose and mouth, and his hair blew in the wind created by his speed. He had moved noiselessly and remained unseen. 'Can she smell me?' he thought. If so, he would have to keep moving so that she couldn't lock onto him again, while looking for a way to conceal his smell. In a faint blur, he had run up the wall, into an open window, out another, run along the wall, jumped to the bar of a fire exit staircase (where he heard her say something to the decoy, he didn't pick it up), dropped and rolled into the sewer. He had hoped that the smell o fecal matter would be strong enough to ward off this... thing. What was it anyways? He had never seen anyone move as fast as him. Nor was it very common for people to locate him that easily. He had several more plans, and he always had tricks up his sleeve. A small sickly redish brown flowering plant grew out from under his sleeve.

Vivian looked at the dummy and lightly laughed and said "Wow I'm impressed! Not many people can pull those kind of tricks with me." She inhaled deeply and picked up the putrid smell of the sewer. She chuckled and said "I like your efforts, but covering yourself with sewer water does nothing but make your smell stronger. So why don't you come out now so I don't have to go looking for you." She scanned the alleyway looking for the boy and decide to wait for him to come out, that was easier than trying to pinpoint his position.

Serenity rolled her eyes at the pair of them. "Ok Green cut the crap and get down here, with all of your divergence points your starting to give me a headache." she said and rubbed the maroon mark that was shining on her forehead. "Oh and Lunesta girl," she said turning to Vivian having picked out what her powers were out of her future, "I don't care what you are but you have to learn to treat the dead respectfully if you want to continue killing and not have me on your tail. Literally," she said with an irritable tone to her voice that one only obtained when they had a bad headache.
Sorina glanced up from talking to Christy for a moment, "Lunesta girl?" she asked skepticly.
Serenity rolled her emerald eyes at the dove and sighed, "You know she's a vampire werewolf hybrid." she said with a small shrug and Sorina rolled her eyes and continued to talk to the small child.

Vivian snickered and said "Green? Well isn't that a great name." She slowly scanned the alley again waiting for the boy to come out, but turned back to the girl with a playful smile on her face. "Lunesta, huh?" she asked and thought about the name for a moment. "Actually, I think that's a pretty good name. Better than Green." she said with a chuckled. She looked back at the girl and noticed that she seemed to be talking to something that didn't seem to be there.
Either this girl was crazy and talking to some imaginary figure or she was on of those people who could see ghost. Vivian smiled as the girl told this invisible figure that Vivian was a vampire werewolf hybrid. "Well aren't you Miss Smarty-pants. I'm a bit surprised you were able to figure that out in one shot." said Vivian in an impressed tone. She walked up to the girl and just stared at her.
She stood there for awhile then turned on her heal and picked up the dead cat. She looked around the alley and spotted a clean, white sheet hanging about twelve feet above her. She carefully put the cat down and got into a crouch then used her amazing strength and jumped into the air, grabbing the sheet. She landed softly on her feet and picked up the cat again. She quickly wrapped the sheet around the cat and then gently placed it in the dumpster then turned back to the girl. "There you happy now?" she asked in an irritated tone.

Serenity rolled her emerald eyes, "You don't seem to get it do you?" she said to the creature of the night and glanced over to the small child who was holding Sorina in her arms and crying mournfully, "I'm not the one you have to impress moon girl," she said with a soft sigh and picked up the mummified cat, "She is." she said and pointed to where the girl was drifting in and out of the visual spectrum, "I'm surprised with all of your high and mighty senses that you didn't see her before." she said and slowly unwrapped the cat.
She had heard the comment about the wolf. She had just tactfully chosen to ignore it. No matter what aura she exuded she did have her limits when it came to "annoying" people.
