An unexpected visitor. [OPEN]

Serenity raised a delicate blonde eyebrow at Emberstar, "Well what a warm welcome." she said with an exasperated sigh and let her emerald eyes dart around the room, she didn't need any powers to know that emberstar was not a person that she would get along with very well, they both loved control way to much for that. "Yes but last week they were talking about superman, these things come in trends you know." she said her voice more like a hawk then Emberstar's viper tones, light and graceful with an undertone of power.

Sorina spotted the faint outline of the maroon symbol on Serenity's forehead that indicated that she was actively using her power now, "Well find anything useful?" she asked looking up at the emerald eyed psychic.

Serenity shook her head ever so slightly, and brushed a hand through her hair out of habit, now that she had taken to wearing her hairclip it didn't fall in her face anymore but she'd been passively keeping her hair out of her face for to long to not just do it. Sorina noticed that and smirked, Serenity said she wore the clip because it was practical. But she'd never worn her hair back before Mathew had given her that clip. Revenge was a dish best served cold though, and the dove was willing to wait for the perfect moment to get back at her for.[/size]

'She's Ravenstars' sister. I can't hit her, no matter how much I want to.', Shift told herself sternly, slowly unclenching her fists as Emberstar strolled out of the room, more sedate and regal than the energetic Ravenstar. The supeherione's eyes were still narrowed, however, and her oddly colored fur was fluffed like an angry cats', her jaw set as the shape shifter wrestled down the nasty words that had leapt to mind. 'I know everything she told me. People don't like me, and my dad even worked in the circus for a while when he was younger, so her saying that isn't a big deal.', Athena told herself, trying to assauge her pride and temper.

It wasn't working in the least.

But it had given her enough control to not purposely give Emberstar rabies, which Shift thought was a success. The cold eyed bitc alien could be dealt with later. Like when Ravenstar wouldn't be around to possibly stop Emberstar from getting a facefull of furry fist. Athena breathed in deeply through her nose, tried to relax a little, and followed the duo of intergalactic twins. Not before pausing to give Serenity a look, and trade a few words, however.

"I don't like the new arrival - she's Emberstar, Ravenstars' older sister.", Shift said tersely, eyes darting down the hallway, keeping sight of said sister, uncaring if she heard. Their dislike was obvious mutual, if Serenity had heard the last bit of conversation. "Have Sorina or something keep an eye on her, please." 'And as a reminder to me that I'm not overimagining this new chicks' 'tude.', thought the shifter to herself.

"I'll explain to you later." Athena put a hand - thankful, knowing Serenity would do as she asked, although there would be questions later - on the blonde's arm and hurried down the hall, her body morphing in a split second into that of a large falcon. Flying out the front, open double-doors of the Tower, she managed to clip Emberstar in the head with one of her wings, whistling innocently.

Well, maybe not.

Serenity gave out a soft sigh, "Sorina go and keep an eye on 'Thena and Emberstar I'll meet you there." she said figuring more than a ghost and Ravenstar would be necessary to stop the two from fighting with each other.

Sorina flew off through the wall and out to where Athena was clipping the newcomer as she flew by, this was going to be very long day.[/size]
