Matty tryed again to ask for water, making no sense, he held up three fingers as long as he could for how heavy his arm was. He was trying to say the third thing with this signal. He opened his eyes and the room was clear, but wouldn't stop moving. He realized he was swaying, but gave no effort to stop.
Looking around his apartment you would see a shortbed constisting of two matresses with no frame, a bunch of cubes of varying sizes of some metallic material were in the corner, stacked up. the book shelf was full of chemistry books and blueprints and designs. the carpet desperately needed to be vaccumed but other than that there was little clutter.

Serenity saw his little signal and nodded quickly and raced to the adjoining bathroom to grab a glass and fill it up. She felt the cool water splash all over her forearms as she tried to do this as quickly as possible and growled in irritation as it brought a mountain dew stain on her white pants to her attention. She was really losing her touch.
She raced quickly back to Matty's side and hoped nothing had turned for the worse while she had gotten the glass of water, "Water?" she asked again without her usual confidence.[/size]

Mathew nodded with weak smile, and swirling a finger around in the water as he took it, it turned blue green. He drank it promptly. He shuddered at how incredibly bitter it was but continued to drain it till it was gone. He dropped the glass, and within seconds, he was no longer swaying. His eyes were closed and he wasn't moving at all.

Serenity's eyes opened in shock as the water changed from clear to blue but wasn't fast enough to stop him from drinking it. "Matt..." she said taking the glass from him with a shocked look in her eyes, "Please tell me what that was." she asked quietly, she wasn't sure if she really wanted to know but knowing was the first step. Ignorance was bliss, till you needed to know.[/size]

"Calm down it was an antidote." Matty shook his head violently before opening his eyes as if to shake a mouse out of his dreads. "Its amazing how I can suddenly think." It was strange for him to remember what had been happening earlier, even though his mind wasn't working properly. In a few moments, he had gone from pretty messed up to completely sound of mind.

Serenity wanted to murder him right there after that little stunt, "Don't do that ever again, got it?" she asked angrily and put the cup on the bedside table. She really hated it when people she was close to drank to much or did any sort of incompassionating drugs. Their futures became so erratic that you couldn't see it, but Matt's was so fluid that even his living was debatable, "I like knowing that the people around me have futures." she said and sat down beside him and glanced sideways at him, "Don't do that please." she said with a sigh.[/size]

Mathew deducted the parrallel between mental stability and certainty of the future. "I'm so sorry, I never meant for you to see me like that." he was a bit ashamed, and stretched his back with his arms spread wide like he was about to do the YMCA dance. As he stretched his spine popped. "Jeez, I feel like I slept on concrete."
<Jeez, its uncanny how much smaller your posts get after you post then you feel lazy>

((lol yeah but usually it's cause I like to keep things moving quickly and long posts take time and thought... and the fact I'm lazy doesn't help much lol also I find if there's only one conversation being held then it's harder to post a long descriptive post. But that's just me))
Serenity didn't know weather to glare at him for the comment or laugh at the comment, she was still slightly flustered with having to sit over him when she couldn't tell if he had a future and if she hadn't run into green it probably wouldn't have lasted long, but as soon as green decided to help well that had helped. "You didn't so much as sleep as pass out." she said and glanced over at him through her long eye lashes.[/size]

"Ugg.... Im going to murder Ian." Matty let out an exasperated sigh before mimicing an annoying high pitched voice "Ooh, you've just GOTTA try 'shrooms bro! Trust me, it'll be FUN!" Mattys voice turned back to normal. "Great so I was lying passed out and stoned in the gutter. Rock bottom. I should be more careful about what I put in my body." Matty got a look like he smelled something weird and turned his head slowly to face Seerenity before closing his eyes in frustration.
"You're going to hold me to that, aren't you."

Serenity held up her hands in the universal I surrender but the look on her face told a different story entirely, "Your words not mine." she said as a small smirk slipped onto her face. Then actually looked him over, he was looking much better then he was earlier almost normal except for, "You may want to have a look at the drool on your shirt though." she said crossing her legs to hide the green mountain dew stain that she had gotten from her spilled soda. So sue her she's a hypocrite.[/size]
