Mathew didn't want to go to bed. He felt fatigued, and his mind was moving a bit low, but he felt restless nonetheless.
"No I'm fine, I swear." He opened his eyes and to his great surprise his vision was near perfect, though dark, but that was the lighting of the room. He tried to get up, and stumbled onto the oh so comfty floor. "Ugg... help me..." He said looking pathetic.

Serenity gave him a disapproving look, she didn't think he should be up and about now a few minutes after he had been out cold but knew perfectly well that he would just attempt it with or without her help. She slipped an arm around his waist and one of his around her shoulder in order to get the best possible leverage, otherwise she probably wouldn't have been able to lift him. "Ok can I set some ground rules?" she asked with a grunt as she attempted to get him back on the couch.[/size]

"The ground doesn't need rules... I can..." Matty started, but forgot to finish his sentence as fell backwards onto the bed.

Serenity sighed and glanced around at the room before responding, "Yes I'm pretty sure it does." she said with a sigh, "How about you just don't do this to me again." she said her emerald eyes glancing at the suddenly very interesting floor.[/size]

"Oh... Im sorry..." at the time, he wasn't very sure what he had done to her exactly.At about that time, Irazehl texted Serenity to remind her to keep matty awake until he got back.

Serenity glanced down at her Iphone. Most people wouldn't think she was the type to have a lot of technology but she was to lazy to do things the old fashioned way so she kept up with the times. Well with the future anyway. Srnity Keep Mat awke til I get bak She replied to the text not bothering to find out who it was from as she knew before she even opened it. Got it. He'll still be awake when you get back. she knew most teenagers didn't text with proper grammar and language but she knew it would help people understand what she was saying. It solved more problems then it caused. "So Matt. Looks like you can't go to sleep for now." she said and stood up from her spot at the end of the bed, "So...." she had no ideas as to what to do now so therefore she didn't see any in the future. That made life pretty irritating.[/size]

He sat up in the bed. "thats good... cuz Im... wired..." he blinked one eye slowly, then the other. He certainly didn't look wired.
"Thanks for taking care of me." he spoke the words sleepily and afterwards, opened his eyes wide as if surprised by something.

Serenity gently pushed him back down onto the bed, "Ok let's make this a rule, no more mushrooms." she said and avoided what he had said first, she was not going to support his drug usages but she wasn't going to expressly forbid it... yet. Although her gaze softened at his next words, "What are friends for?" she asked a small smile playing at her lips.[/size]

"Ok, thats easy..." Mathew didn't know how to make them, he had traded for them. Seeing how unpredictable traded drugs were, he decided to go with his own stuff from then on out. Luckily, the effects were wearing off.
"No really, thank you. For everything." He took her hand and smiled at her goofily, a twinkle in his eye.

Serenity smiled half heartedly and tried not to be swayed to much by the look on Matt's face, "Well it's a deal then." she said and glanced at him, "Matt I'm not going to lie, your a mess." she said sadly and leaned back against the foot board of the bed[/size]
