Vivians last stament caught Tian's attention. She blinked, not knowing what to say. Her sad look deepened when she noticed Jura had backed away from her. "..." Holding back a tear, she turned away, closing her eyes, thinking.

Kura stared back into Vivian's eyes with the same nuetral look. It appeared that he wasn't aware he was in the middle of an ethical debate. A few long moments passed before he spoke. "Violence is the only thing that humans understand. I had to make the sacrifice of lowering myself down to their level in order to make any progress." He leaped up to a tree and his blue wings unfolded through slits in the trenchcoat. He crouched on a branch like a gargoyle. He spoke to Tian in a more depressing tone. "Of course, its ok when the humans act the way I have. You still befriend them. But when I, a drathnian, act like a human... you lose your faith in me." He sighed sadly. "I don't need your support. Soon, I will be leaving for the middle east to fight taliban oppressors. I won't be around to help you, so please...stay out of harms way." He pushed off the branch and took flight, breaking through the canopy of leaves. Tian was the only person on the planet he could really trust, but now he wasn't sure if he could trust her. He still cared about her, but... she had become unpredictable.

"Wait!" Tian stared after him, then glanced to Vivian. She lowered her gaze. The girl was on the verge of crying. Why did he just leave like that? She sighed, looking over at her friend. The lizard-girl hugged herself, looking back to the spot where Kura had been.

Vivian looked over at Tian and wanted to comfort her, but she didn't know how to do it. She's never really had to comfort someone, at least not for the past eight years. She stood there for a moment then walked over to Tian, resting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Hey don't let what he said bother you. He just needs time to learn. He'll understand soon enough." She wasn't sure if what she said would help, but it was all she could really think of.
