All Hallow's Eve [Chione/Open]

Chione tried to move back, and to the side, to avoid the cigarette being snatched from his mouth, but the way this girl moved... it was like she knew what was going to happen. "What-... Oy!" he said, in amazement.

"It's not illegal, just immoral!" he said, reaching to take the cigarette back. "And don't you" he said glancing at Athena. "Have any control over your team?"

Serenity's piercing eyes narrowed in distaste, "She has perfect control over her team." she said coldly and dropped the cigarette on the ground. "I'm just not on it." she said and stepped on it.

Sorina cawed a warning to Serenity as she was really getting worked up now but nothing would deter the blond now, "Serenity please...." she begged but was silenced by a glare from said blond.[/size]

"She's a part time member.", Athena added, replying to Chione's snide remark about 'her team'. "

[/b]And alot more sensible than some of the full time members.[/b]", the green girl continued, brushing herself off and trying not to wince as her legs protested her standing up so quickly. After Chione had dodged, she had landed on the rather unforgiving concrete. All of the civilians had gotten out of the way, thankfully, but she was smarting rather hard - both her body and her ego.

She could have attacked Chione, but the shape shifter wasn't sure if her ankle was twisted, broken, or just hurting and slightly swelled. Besides, it looked like Serenity was handling things well, especially for someone who usually couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag. The Titan leader wanted to go and find something to put on her leg, but the fight made her stay - if things got worse, she could shift and fight, but shifting with something broken hurt like all hell.[/right][/size][/color]

Canas could pick up the changes in aura from miles away, and had. It had taken him a short time to come to the scene of the disturbance. His concern was that another demon was in the area, and upon arrival, his suspicions were confirmed.
The dark robed man stood still with only his scythe glistening in the moonlight, he fit into the darkness. He observed a small group of three, as the last of the panicked individuals ran past him. He paid no mind to them and for once they ignored him in turn. It was halloween after all. It was easy for him to spot the demon, though it appeared human. He wasn't sure if it had already possessed a human or if it was one of the 'humanoid demons' of whom he did not associate himself with.
He slowly approached, saying nothing, but surely expecting an annoyance from Serenity. He was not sure if he wanted to affiliate himself with the demon or not.

Serenity briefly contemplated dragging Athena to the hospital after this and picked up the diagnosis from the doctor then and there to make life easy for them, "Shift, bad sprain." she said over her shoulder not moving her glare from mummy boy in front of her and if possible her emerald eyes narrowed farther, and she pointed strait at Canas, "And don't start with me death on wheels. I'm so not in the mood." someone had managed to put her in a very bad mood today. And it was really starting to show through.

Sorina on the other hand was facing off with Canas now leveling her own glare that the demon probably couldn't see. From her point of view it was obvious that they were demons that the three females were dealing with as they both oozed darkness from their beings. Not that spirits didn't as well but it was a different kind of darkness. Not as all encompassing. [/size]

Chione stopped what he was going to do, which was send an armful of energy directly into the bitch who destroyed his last cigarette, and dropped his aura, sniffing the air, smirking.

"Fire" he said, turning to the oncoming Canas, now ignoring the other two, "And Brimstone" now advancing towards this Human-possessed demon. "A Demon, why don't you come out and play?" he said, still walking towards Canas, to stop about ten feet away, unless something happened to him on the way.

Canas chuckled darkly from the back of his throat. "You wouldn't like the way I play." He said then turned his head to the side coughing. He slouched as the obstruction cleared and he spat up a sort of chunky black goo. A bone glowed through the mess of flesh and bile, shining horribly in the moonlight. His found body was beginning to reject the human flesh he restricted his diet to.
Canas stood still for a moment, wiping his mouth. As if the demon 'hairball' hadn't happened, he straightened up and began speaking again. "What are you doing in this realm? This is my turf." His head bent forward but behind the shadow of his hood he looked up at Choine with his black eyes. He hoped dearly that the boy, like him, was not actually supposed to be in the earthly realm. If the higher ups were alerted to his behavior... he shuddered to think about it.

"Ha ha" he laughed sharply, not being feigned by the human flesh coming up from his esophagus. "

'You're' turf? I was told that this plane was free for me to roam in, but... wait a minute" He said, "Nah" dismissing the thought he turned, "So do you know who these two are?" he asked, "particularly that one" he said pointing to Serenity, "she crushed my cigarette, I need a little pay-back" The red energy, Canas would recognize as a free-style energy, with no actual discipline or seemingly teaching of control, but outright power, deathly to flesh when coming into direct contact. This boy, Chione, was never taught by another on how to control his demonic energy.

Serenity glared at the two demons. From what they were talking about Chione wasn't that bad, bu Canas happened to be bending the rules of the dead. That and she was more inclined to believe Chione then Canas, "So which one of you is lying?" she asked pleasantly with a gleam in her eye that said that it was anything but.

She didn't appreciate demons roaming free in the human world. There were many who didn't even know of the existence of them and believed that they all came from hell. She wasn't about to tell them though, "Who has been lied about the real gods of death this night?" she asked glaring at Canas as she mentioned the nightmares who kept the demons in check.[/size]
