Serenity rolled her eyes and chuckled quietly, "Well I figure at least one Titan needs to know how to stitch someone up without leaving a scar because sending everyone to the hospital every five seconds isn't my idea of fun." she said with a roll of her eyes, "And anyway who said life was supposed to be normal, ours sure as hell aren't." she said with a smile. Most people would think she was insane right now but she didn't care. "Well at least you'd be a good swimmer." she said laughing finally.[/size]

Ha ha, Yeah I guess I would be, if I knew how to swim" Rena said, smiling, wondering vacantly if Serenity had mascara on or if that was her natural tone. "But atleast I won't drown"
Though inside, Rena had grown a bit self-conscious, worrying, for the first time in a long time, that she should have worn some make-up of sorts.

Serenity laughed and glanced at Rena with amusement, "We live on a coastline and you never learned how to swim?" she asked amazed but she knew the answer already. "Wow, well we'll have to fix that." she said with a grin spreading across her face. Rena despite the fact she was well hated was a surprisingly good person to talk to.
Not really surprising to the blond or even Joan as it turned out but most would think that she was nuts, an almost titan talking to the leaders most hated enemy. That had to look great on a resume.[/size]

"Well, back when this was my home, I never did go swimming, so I never learned" she said, "but before we do that, I'd need to get a swimsuit" she said, willing a blush away, a swimsuit would expose much more skin than she was used to, and she even wore baggy clothing for two things, one because she thought she looked cooler in baggy clothing, and two to hide her figure, which she was self-conscious about, being so small and all.

Serenity smiled at Rena, "Well that is very easily remedied, I'll have to teach you," she said with a smile. Swimming was one of the things she could do well having learned when she was little. She hadn't done much with the knowledge but it could at least help Rena. There were a lot of skills she had that she wished she could replace with things like marshal arts, that would have been useful now things like dance and... other skills were less useful.
She smiled sideways at her friend, she really wasn't as bad a person as everyone made her out to be. Most people didn't realize it though.[/size]

Rena smiled shyly, she really didn't want to put on a swimsuit, she barely liked wearing regular shorts, having worn mostly cargo-shorts that went past her knees, but swimming WAS a good skill to have. "Alright, in exchange, I'll try and teach you a language, just pick one, I even know a few alien dialects, though not sure how useful those'd be"

Serenity thought about that for a moment, "Which one would you suggest?" she asked thoughtfully, she had never really considered learning another language other than the fact that she needed one to get into university. But really all she had done was take the AP test by discovering the correct answers in the future. That made life so much easier sometimes.[/size]

Rena thought for a moment. "Y'know, I'd've suggested English, but I sorta realized we're speaking it, but... what about Chinese, that's universal, except for the America's" she said, wondering when exactly she had learned chinese. It was during the time she had spent on earth, before making her presence known.

Serenity smiled thankfully at Rena, "That sounds great, so swimming lessons in exchange for Chinese lessons?" she said with a chuckle at the thought of them trying to teach each other how to do their respective choices in lessons. "I'll just selectively forget to tell Athena about it." she joked lightly seeing as the green titan wanted to chop Rena up into tiny little pieces, light them on fire and then throw a bonfire party around the burning mess. Sad thing was she wouldn't quite put it past her.[/size]

"Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea" she said with a bit of a smile figuring pretty much what Serenity was talking about, though it'd be a bit different, something about a blender with chopped pieces and feeding it to the fishies. "We ought go shopping for a swimsuit, maybe, and a couple notebooks." she said, just barely keeping the blush down, the first thought of hers was showing so much skin in public.
