Serenity sighed again glancing sideways at Rena to be sure she just said that, "What with Jack maybe going Trigon on all of us and destroying downtown, and then maybe having the FBI break down my front door life sounds great." she said and still couldn't believe she was talking to Rena about this.
Serenity glanced back at her dark haired friend, "And what about you and the bombs?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, "Not really the smartest thing you've ever done." she commented dryly. Life just got better and better.[/size]

Yeah, I agree with you, not the smartest thing, but Athe... Shift, didn't kill me, nor did she kill the disillusioned human with dreams of being an Alien" she said, looking at the ceiling. "So it all really worked out... mostly to the way I wanted it to" she said, leaning back so far, as to lie down.

Serenity sighed at her friend, the fact that she didn't even realize that Lunder was her sister was a slight problem, "You know she's going to be pissed off at you once she get's her memory back, that much I don't need powers to know." she said absentmindedly, half her mind on the conversation half her mind making sure that Jack wasn't about to destroy downtown. That would mean a lot of dead spirits for her to talk with and she already had enough thank-you-very-much.[/size]

Ooohh, I sincerely doubt that, but I do know your reasonings behind it." she said non-chalantly, waving her hand side-to-side to show that she didn't really care, even if Lundar came to try and kill her. "I mean, if it were a little different, it'd be me dead" she muttered, in thought.

Serenity chuckled softly at Rena's comment, "Well she did manage to come back from the dead so that's one up on all of us normal superheros." she joked lightly and smiled at her friend. Oddly enough one of her best friends was hunted by everyone and people were now coming back from the dead. Down town was in danger and she still had to write her psychology paper.
"Your not going to explain what you meant by that are you?" she asked with a soft smile, this was one of the times she was glad she didn't have siblings.[/size]

"Not now, it depends on Shift, whether I'll explain anything to anybody, actually, but I'll say this. For all the shit I've been put through because of it, sometime I wish I had actually committed the crime behind the reasoning of me being banished from this planet" she said, with a bit an angry hint in her voice. She was bitter, that was clear through her voice. Though on the inside, she wasn't entirely in regret.

Serenity sighed and glanced back at her friend, "So our lives suck and we need to get new ones?" she said with a joking hint to her voice. "Well I still expect a full explanation." she warned her future seeing companion with a smile having really needed this talk.
"Anyway how can you be banished from a planet altogether, I bet people in Africa don't even know you exist." she said cheerfully.

"It's not the individuals there, it's the governments determining that one of the first rogue supers, was to be wanted on high alert, until either a body, remains, or I am found." she said, not really caring. "Besides... I studied multiple African dialects... for a time." she said, a bit sheepishly. Rena herself, a little happy that she had finally said that she had recently been wishing she had committed the crime way back then.

Serenity nudged Rena's shoulder with her own and chuckled softly, "Of course you did, I myself suck royally at any kind of languages, now anatomy and psychology on the other hand." she said with a smile. Rena really had done some really amazing things in her life, albeit had done them for all the wrong reasons but they were still really cool things none the less.

Maybe I will, but I've never really did anatomy, I mean, I don't need oxygen or nitrogen or any other gas for my body to sustain itself, and I'm not entirely sure, But I don't think that's normal" she said, pushing back on Serenity's should a little, smiling, purposely stopped the default action of breathing.
