(note: continuation from "The two of spirit") Serenity glared at the statues in front of the church, yeah if they really knew about what happened in the walls of the church in front of her then they wouldn't be so serene.
She gave a frustrated huff and walked in disregarding the religion that the church stood for. She knew the church grounds much better than most people would believe she did. She had come here many times in her life as it was a large enough church to have people buried underneath it. It was one of the reasons she was here tonight. A very old friend of her's lived in the catacombs. She gave a frustrated huff as she searched for her friend forgetting to search the future for her. This had not been a good day.
And considering she was so pissed off the emerald eyed psychic ended up walking right through her old friend. "Oh hello Joan." she said thankfully, she really needed to talk to the Spirit who had been a very strong psychic. She had been the one to identify Serenity's powers when she was a child and had been there whenever the blonde needed someone to talk to. She had been like a grandmother to Serenity since she had been three when she had pointed out to the little girl that she was speaking to the spirits of the dead and not just seeing things. She was the person that Serenity talked to, firstly because she wouldn't go telling her mother about it and secondly because she was almost as strong a psychic as the living medium was.
"Joan I~" Then they both rolled their eyes as they foresaw a loud crashing noise from upstairs, "Are you serious?" Serenity asked irritably and hit her head against a wall. This was just what she needed.

Silent as a shadow, Rena appeared in the basement, and blinked as she saw Serenity. Though that was one other reason she was here, knowing her friend needed a bit of support... from recent activities. "Hey Serenity" she greeted, stepping to the side of a secondary entity she faintly felt in front of her, that being Joan.
"They're rather loud, aren't they?" she asked, in a comforting tone, deciding not to be wanting to be yelled at, she had her fun at the police station. She tucked half her bangs behind one of her ears, keeping it out of the way. Her dark eyes, peering towards Joan, not really seeing it, but a dull sense of where it was.

Serenity glared up at the vandals and rolled her eyes as she heard the priests take care of it, "Oh Rena Joan, Joan Rena." she said introducing the two although now that she actually thought about it they could both see the future anyway. This was not her day.
"Ugh," she growled frustrated with life at the moment, "Yes their very loud, from the sounds of it they want to be caught." she said attempting to calm herself down.
Joan smiled at Rena softly and floated through the walls of the Church, Serenity really didn't need to talk to her at the moment, she had others other than the dead to talk with.

Rena nodded towards Joan, not even sure if her voice would carry over to the ethereal plane, so she deemed it, but knew for a fact, that images passed through both. "So, what've you been up to lately?" Rena asked, knowing the bit of tension in the air.
Aside from whatever had happened to Serenity, it didn't seem it was just Rena giving the young Titan's assistant, or whatever title she gave herself, what with, the incident at the police station... Both of them... having been largely her fault.

Serenity sighed and sat down on the stairs, "Not much," she said with a glance up at Rena then ran a hand through her hair pulling out her hair clip as she did. She glanced down at it following the delicate lines in the metal.
She glanced back up at Rena, no matter if she happened to be on the top of Athena's most wanted list she was still a good friend so she finished her earlier thought, "Talking with Spritus." she finished with a sigh and cast her emerald eyes down slightly. None of this made any sense. Hell, Rena had known Spritus longer then she had, she might even be able to help her understand what the hell was going on. She sure didn't.

That dried up old codger?" she asked, deciding to just sit on her feet, her knees touching the ground, at the bottom of the stairs. If one had seen her secret hide-out, they'd know that this mess was nothing. Though maybe the smell here was a bit worse.
"He's alright I guess, but I'm one of the few that actually get along with him" she said with a bit of a shrug. "Guessing you didn't, huh?"

Serenity sighed just using Rena's voice to calm herself down, it worked much better than Sorina's laughing voice and she smiled slightly at the teleporter, "Well you could say that." she said with a small smile and clipped her hair back again to keep it out of her face.
She turned her gaze back to Rena slowly, "Or you could say he didn't like Mathew." she said with a sigh, really that being the root of the problem. She would be surprised if she hadn't heard of him, the FBI didn't show up and search for just anyone. She happened to be on their list too. Of course Serenity already had one most wanted person hidden in her house so talking to another in the church didn't seem like to much of a crime.

Rena laughed a little. "You finally find a boy for yourself?" she asked with a teasing smile on her face. It took Serenity a while, what with the natural blond look, it seemed to have finally worked for her.
Though Rena shouldn't really talk herself, or tease another one about 'finally' finding someone.

Serenity couldn't believe it, she was talking to a hunted criminal about her life like this was a soap opera or something, her life was insane. "Yeah..." she said with a frustrated sigh glancing at the wall of the basement for a moment and then back at Rena, "I think that's Jack's problem." she said and ran a hand through her long hair.
She ignored the slight pain as she felt a few hairs tear out at her pull. If her hair was that knotted it needed to be dealt with. "And that leads us to now." she said with a huff and laced her hands together. This was not getting any easier for her probably never would.

Sounds like you're having a great life." Rena commented leaning back a little, placing her hands on the ground behind her. They maybe Serenity was, from hers, it sounded more like normal problems teenagers had. Boy troubles, and others not exactly accepting of the idea of a significant other, for another.
