She smiled. "Yeah, it is. I'm still female, though, regardless of whether I touch a male animal or a female animal." She then saw the strange look Lukie was giving her, and, she asked him, "What?"

"Being turned into a male animal doesn't sound fun..."Alaire said almost laughing at the thought. She couldn't picture any female turning into a male animal or vice versa for that matter.
Lukie looked at Alaire then to Vicky again. "Your the first human that's talked to me that I could talk back too...It's kind of weird..." It was really wierd.

UGH!
So much to do so little time.
Serenity walked in on the other two girls efficiently hopping over the counter in the kitchen on her way to the other two girls. She was frustrated that no one had gotten around to getting a room ready for the new girl or getting her the necessary gear that she would need. She currently had two communicators, one for Vicky and her own that was clipped onto her belt.
The two others hadn't been around long enough to know how to run things here. Albeit Serenity herself hadn't been around for that long herself AND wasn't even a certified titan, she didn't even have a codename. But she knew exactly how the tower ran and where everything was. Sadly she even knew how much they spent each month on food and electricity.
She caught up to the girls and flicked her hair out of her face, "Ok enough of talking to animals and what gender we will become." she said quickly trying to get things done without to much trouble, "Here's your com link." she said passing it to the not so human Zoo, "And Vicky just warning you you'll have to find food for all your pets you know." she said glancing at the varying pets of the new girl.
"One second Sorina." she said as the Dove flew through the wall looking for the blond who was currently not wanting to talk to the spirit. "So dietary needs and stuff... nevermind I'll just fill out all the paperwork," she said as the dove started pecking her head. "Oh and I'm Serenity." she said and the dove rolled her eyes. The psychic really needed to work on that.[/size]

"That is so cool! I totally feel like everybody else has hardcore awesome powers that I lack." Vanessa had been watching for a while, then interjected with her own powers. Despite the negative twinge of disappointment, she still seemed bubbly and upbeat. "I can identify liquids on taste. A bit of smell, but that's not as accurate. And some solids." She shrugged, beaming. "Kinda CSI-ish, but not really. And kinda-sorta more gross." Blood. That was probably the worst thing she ever learned to identify. She crinkled her nose at the mere thought, before glancing over all of Vicky's animals. Man, Nessa would never have been able to be a responsible owner and keep that many. Sometimes Jet was a bit too much for the brunette teenager to handle.
They were joined by another girl. Nessa stuck her tongue out like a child. "Ruin the fun and excitement." She laughed, before shrugging. "I guess that is kind of an important part." Her own communicator was strapped to one of the belt loops of her jeans, and her fingers slid down to it. "There's an immediate call-for-help button, but there's also a button that lets you talk to everyone else at once. I'm pretty sure the call-for-help button is for emergencies, when you don't have time to explain where you are or what's going on." She shrugged. "I'm probably a really bad example of this. I'm not really the mission type." Vanessa crinkled her nose again, this time at the thought of her resorting to fighting.
"There's a meeting room, but normally we don't use it. I think we've started to use it more, though. For things that everyone should hear. The intercom for the Tower can be heard in any room, and maybe even on communicators if they're close enough."
She nodded, smiling wearily, as if exhausted from all of her talking.
