Arriving at the Tower(Titans)

Victoria sighed. Why the heck wasn't there a ROAD Leading to a tower? That way, she could have gotten someone drive her there. But, no. As the teenager carried the cages of her coral snake and Jackrabbit, with her dog and cat walking alongside her, she had these thoughts in her head. Oh, well. About a few minutes later, she reached the tower. Placing Greg and Lisha's cages on the ground, she went over to the door and knocked. "Hello? Anyone home? Do I have to press some kind of button to let people know I'm here?"

Somebody new?

Surely, the other Titans would know how to get inside.

She was slightly surprised, especially at the timing. She had just walked past the front door, and now somebody was there, waiting to get let in. She didn't recognize the voice, so was it a new Titan? She shrugged off the thought, quickly pressing a few buttons to open the door. Her answer greeted her - it was a girl she had never met before. She was carrying some luggage, surrounded by animals. As if on cue, Vanessa's own dog appeared behind her, wagging his tail as if greeting them. "Jet, silly boy," she muttered down at her hound, before surveying the girl. She certainly had never met the other girl before, but like Neseru, Vanessa didn't see her as a threat. Why was it that Nessa always opened the door when people she didn't know wanted inside?

"Hello there. I'm Vanessa." She beamed, reaching one hand down to pat her own dog on the top of his head. “This is Jet. He doesn’t bite, I swear. Well. He may bite people he doesn't like, but I've never seen it happen, so I'm not really sure.” She paused to quickly look around, waiting to see if anybody else would show up. After a moment, she shrugged, and grinned again. “I’m sorry. I feel like I should know who you are, since you’re obviously prepared to just walk in here. If you're new, I don't think I've been around when Shift has mentioned it." She shrugged once more, before tossing a curl over her shoulders.

"I'm sure you can come in, though." Vanessa took a few steps away from the door, gesturing for Victoria to come inside. "The others will figure out somebody is here eventually. A couple of them are probably busy."

Victoria smiled, and walked inside, followed by her cat and dog. "Thanks. Anyway, my name is Victoria, although you can call me Vicky, or, 'Zoo' if you want. My rottweiler's name is Max, My cat's name is Charlotte, my Coral snake's name is Greg, and, my Jackrabbit's name is Lisha." Suddenly, Max barked. Sighing, Victoria said, "Yes, Max, you can go do your business. But, be quick about it." Then, the dog ran outside.

Alaire's hyper active pet flying squirrel, Lukie, popped out of his cage when she opened to to feed him. "Back in your cage," she said to him but he stood at her feet and just looked up at her. "Now, you little furball." Well then. That did no good. He ran out of her door. She could just see him taking off and flying down the stairs. Oh no. He wasn't good at landing. She prayed to herself that he wouldn't start flying as she ran out after him. Ok he made it down the stairs without flying and crashing."Lukie get your butt back here!" an annoyed Alaire shrieked at the flying squirrel ran across the floor towards the front door.

"Lukie!....Oh...um...hey?" she said as he stopped at the door by Vanessa and a girl she had never seen before. She shook off her embarrasing greeting and picked Lukie up. "I'm so sorry he doesn't normally act like that. My name's Alaire Simon. You can call me A'lynn or Charm or whatever you want. This crazy little thing is Lukie." The girl must be a new Titan. Finally Alaire wouldn't be alone. She looked at the girls pets. A rabbit, a snake, a cat...eww, and a dog. Hmm...maybe she had a connection to animals. That would explain Lukie's little episode.

Oh well. Whatever her powers were Alaire felt the need to stop thinking about it and help her, "I'll help you with your stuff if you need me to." she said with a polite smile.

Victoria smiled and said, "Thanks." Then, she set her stuff down on the ground, including the cages. "Anyway, I'm Victoria, but, you can call me Vicky or 'Zoo'. The dog that's currently doing his business is Max, the cat is Charlotte, the snake is Greg, and, the rabbit is Lisha." Then, looking at Lukie, she asked Alaire, "You have a flying squirrel?"

Lukie made his way from her hands to her shoulder. Alaire giggled as he nuzzled up against her ear. "Yep. He's the best friend a girl could ask for." She looked at Vicky and all of her pets. "You can just leave your stuff right here for now, and I'll help you move them later, but I'm sure you'd like to be shown around the Tower. It can be very confusing at first." She said smiling.

She continued smiling. "Well, a tour DOES sound nice...But, don't you want to know what I can do first? I mean, we are going to be teammates, so, it'd probably be a good idea to know what each other can do."

"Well I guessed that since Lukie freaked out like he did and since you have so many critters, that you could talk to animals or something like that." Duh. Why didn't she think about asking. She could have like super vision or something like that. "I'm Jinx's daughter, Jinx the villain, and my dad is a human, but I can control fire and when I do the flames turn silver, I can also conjure winds and control wind." She held up her gloved hands. "As for these I can touch someone and automatically see their thoughts, but only what they are thinking at that moment. I try to steer away from that one...it's pretty unnerving." She shuddered thinking about the few times she'd used that one.

"Enough about me. What's your powers?" she asked smiling again.

"Well, you're right on the talking to animals part. But, that's not all I can do. Watch this." She then yelled, "MAX!" Then, the Rottweiler ran over to her. Then, she bent down, and touched him. Then, suddenly, she started growing Black and brown fur. Then, her ears changed into ears that were like a rottweiler, and, then a muzzle appeared on her face. Then, she grew a few inches, and then... Her shoes broke. After the transformation was over, she looked like a rottweiler with two hands, two arms, claws, two feet and two legs. "Basically, I can turn into an anthromorphic version of any animal I touch. By the way, Anthromorphic means human-like."

Alaire watched as Vicky turned into two legged version of Max. "Dang that's pretty awesome." Her powers were pretty cool. Alot like Shift's except un-green and more human like. Lukie cocked his head to the side and gave Vicky a strange look.
