A charity gala is full of the rich and notable. A lot of transactions will be taking place. A big jackpot for a good cause. It's the sort of event that inspires hope in a city that needs it, but imagine if it all went wrong. Imagine that guests become hostages, and pleasant servers, entertainers, and even those sworn to protect turn and become party crashers of the worst kind. Security unravels. All that money vanishes. People get hurt.
For some special people, this sounds delightful. It's an opportunity, but come on--this is Wayne Enterprises. That, and the Titans are likely to be invited. However could it be pulled off?
Insider information. You see, the upstart new CEO fired a woman who was responsible for managing all these things and more. She was bitter sure, but not stupid, so it took some persuasion to get her to spill the beans so to speak. Now, a mysterious masked benefactor is willing to provide this information all for free. He'll even come to you, and you can take it or leave it.
So what will you do with it? Be part of the chaos, or miss out on the fun?
Basically, it's a chance for villains to completely pick apart and ruin this gala as they so please. From hacking, to sneaking in, to whatever it is your villain does you get a free pass, because they'll have received a special invitation courtesy of an anonymous Robert Long. Schematics, codes, schedules and access to how things go in and out are all yours to exploit. There's no formal plan--anything goes, and quite a number of people have been invited to the opportunity. NPCs gone rogue will also be included, meaning the man serving the champagne may actually be a criminal whose switched places and will be using the champagne bottle to cut you.
The people who are in attendance are also quite the hostages. You can bet news will be all over this mess. You can see why it may be good to have a few Titans there to keep things from getting too out of hand.
